Bagi masyarakat yang tinggal di kota besar di Indonesia, mungkin nama Erasmus Mundus scholarship bukanlah lagi sebuah nama asing. Selama setahun kemarin, perwakilan European Union untuk Asia Tenggara, khususnya Indonesia telah aktif menyebarkan informasi tentang beasiswa Erasmus Mundus melalui koran maupun seminar-seminar sekolah di luar negeri.Mungkin proses yang tidak 'umum' dan investasi awal yang 'cukup' besar untuk melamar beasiswa ini lah yang menjadi kendala kenapa sampai saat ini peminat dari Indonesia belum menunjukan peningkatan jumlah yang signifikan. Padahal kalo dilihat dari Jumlah quota yang disediakan khusus untuk mahasiswa dari Asia tenggara, khususnya indonesia, kita masih sangat ketinggalan jauh dibanding India dan Cina yang mampu mengirimkan hampir 100 orang pertahunnya....
