GMC Terrain is set to replace the Pontiac Torrent which recently made its debut at the Kuwait International Auto Show last month. According to sources the change is expected to come for the 2009 model year. The GMC Terrain will be built on the same architecture as the next-generation Chevrolet Equinox but will have a unique sheet of metal and a different interior. Pricing will be close to the Equinox which starts at $22,995 including shipping.“The Terrain will add an opportunity for GMC dealers to win some business in a market that we’re not in right now,” says dealer Mike Bowsher.
