| Officially Unveiled: Kia Forte |

After a series of teaser pictures, Kia released today the first official pictures of its new Forte sedan. Spectra's successor's appearance is close to the Kia KOUP concept.The Forte sedan is the first production model to carry Kia’s new corporate look, which includes some new design elements like the new corporate grille and striking side lines. The H-shapped grille is set to become a Kia trademark in the future.Kia will introduce the Forte with two gasoline engines. When the car hits Korean showrooms in August, it will be available only with the new 1.6L four cylinder rated at 124hp. | Fiat Group Plans New Sports Cars For Abarth, Lancia And Alfa |

Today it is reported by Autoblog that three Italian automakers that are under the Fiat Group umbrella have plans to develop three new sports cars. The Fiat Group controls most of the Italian automotive industry, including Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Maserati and Ferrari.
An unique sports car has the biggest possibility. As previously reported Fiat as plans to revive the Abarth performance brand with new cars. It is highly rumored that the Abarth roadster would take an Elise-style approach, and could even borrow underpinnings from Lotus. Power could come from the turbo four in the Punto and 500 Abarth.
There are parallel reports of a new Lancia coupe-cabrio on the horizon. This in addition to the rumored Aurelia flagship, expected to be unveiled in Geneva next March. The Lancia convertible could also have an Alfa Romeo variant.

The production version of Suzuki's A-Star hatchback spotted in India. Suzuki was pretty fast in preparing the productin ready version. The A-Star Concept showed at the last New Delhi Motor Show just six months ago.

| 2010 Camaro SS Spotted In TV Set |

Over the weekend a silver prototype of the upcoming 2010 Camaro SS was spotted on the set of a new NBC televesion program starring Christian Slater. The prototype features the predominantly placed SS badge on the right hand side of the front fascia and another on the rear bumper.
The high-spec model will only get subtle exterior modifications from the regular Camaro like the additional front spoiler we see above and for the first time we get to see a Camaro with a sunroof. - More pictures after the jump...

| Seat Confirms New Sedan Will Be Called Exeo |

We've reported before that Seat will be launching a new D-segment model in 2009 that will sit alongside the Toledo and based on the old Audi A4.Today Seat confirmed in an announcement that the new model will be named Exeo. The new model will be available as both a sedan and as a family version. The name follows the brand's Mediterranean roots, it comes from the Latin word "Exire" which means “to go beyond” or “to go further”. It differs from the names of the other models in the Seat range but signals a new direction for the automaker. The new D segment model will be manufactured at the Martorell plant with next year's Geneva Motor Show a likely debut.

Honda is a big company which works on cars, planes and even trains. Yes, you read it right. And now Honda develops the Auto-Max railcar.Today Honda transports 82% of all its soon-to-be-sold autos via rail in the United States. It's for sure that it's more environmentally responsible than using trucks. But the current rail cars can only hold 10 cars and operate for 20 years. So Honda developed the Auto-Max, which will hold 22 cars and run for 50 years. And now its got a fleet of 400 operating in the U.S.The Japanese automaker also upgraded the rail infrastructure around its Marysville and East Liberty, Ohio assembly plants so trains can pull in and out faster and shipments get on their quicker.

The all new fourth generation SEAT Ibiza was revealed last month at the Madrid Motor Show with the three-door Ibiza sport-coupe version following a week later.SEAT has already confirmed the sporty FR and Cupra models are on the way and BridgeToGantry.com, have taken some images of the sport coupe wearing a twin-tip exhaust pipe and a cute roof wing. - Continued after the jump...It is speculated that the petrol engined Cupra will receive VW's 170hp 1.6-liter TSI engine producing 180 to 200hp. The Sport Coupe will make its public debut next month in London while the FR and Cupra models are expected to debut either at Paris this October or Geneva in 2009.

Saab's new 9-4X SUV spotted entering the Nurburgring circuit in Germany. The 9-4X shares the same platform with Saturn Vue and Opel Antara but will be revised to fit the premium segment.Sources have claimed this prototype has a 284 horsepower V6 engine under the hood mated to an automatic gear box. The dimensions of the model stand at a length 495cm and 192cm wide bringing an estimated weight to around 2180kg. The car carries some similar design cues to the 9-4X BioPower Concept with the aggressive half oval grille. But the overall profile of the vehicle had to be heavily toned down for production. The car is expected to make its world debut at next year's Detroit Motor Show before production commences at the GM factory in Mexico. - More pictures after the jump...
