2007-04-09 08:12:50
That's right, Dominate AGLOCO has a new home and a new name. Carl Madsen dot Net is my new blog, and I will be moving the referral tips and GPT programs over. I will be modifying the referral tips so they're not only for AGLOCO, but so you can use them for any affiliate program you like :)Carl Madsen dot Net is hosted on Wordpress, but there's still a couple bugs to fix in a couple plugins. So what are you still doing on this blog? Check out the new home![...if you don't click the link and are viewing from the direct site URL, you should be redirected in 7 seconds...]......

MyLot - Get Paid to Discuss your Interests
2007-04-04 23:35:57
MyLot is an online forum, but with a twist - you get paid to voice your opinions. Most "Get Paid To" sites pay you based on how many emails you read, offers you complete, hours you surf, etc, MyLot pays you on how many posts you make, and how good a quality they are.You earn about 1 or 2 cents per post, however it is possible to earn more based on the quality of your posts. Short, meaningless topic and responses will only be worth 1 cents, however deep and long discussion may be worth up to $0.20 each.To start posting, you first type in all of your worldly interests, from hobbies and pets, to things you want to do, or have done in your life. Once you've selected your interests, you can ...

AGLOCO - The Scam Revealed
2007-04-01 21:11:07
There's been a lot of talk around the internet about whether or not AGLOCO is a scam - today I have the answer. My friend and I decided to do a bit of fishing around the AGLOCO website, and the files within, where we came across a couple interesting .txt files about five folders deep from the root directory. The files in question were "ip_logs.txt" and "paypal.txt". The file that really caught my eye was the "paypal.txt". Why would AGLOCO need such a file? AGLOCO is not paying its members via PayPal, so what could this be?I opened it, and made quite a startling discovery. "paypal.txt" was merely a list of member's emails and passwords. This may not seem very startling, but when you think that your paypal login is your email a...

AuctionAds vs. Kontera Contentlink
2007-03-29 04:37:42
A while ago I posted about some new ads on this blog, saying that if AuctionAds didn't start to show some earnings, they'd have to go. Now, I know that earnings don't come instantly; you have to wait to see some progress, but 11 days, 1534 impressions and 33 clicks later, my earnings are still at $0.00.On the other hand, the Kontera ContentLink ads are doing alright. They're the double-underlined links seen dotted around the site, and have been through 5 clicks and raised $0.96, which is about $0.19 a click. Although the CTR isn't as high as AuctionAds, I seem to be earning more. The banners seen around the posts are netting in a referral every now and then to the program advertised, so they'll stay as well. However, the AuctionAds will be replaced. Wit...

MediaDollarz - Easy Money
2007-03-23 23:41:43
MediaDollarz is a recently changed company from GoodLeadsOnly, which pays you money to complete various offers, free and trials. The offers are sorted into categories, which enables you to find and complete the offers you want to quicker and easier. Both the free and pay offers have very good payouts; free offers paying out $2-$4, and some offers paying out over $50. Most trial offers pay around $10, which is huge, considering you're not paying anything. As soon as I joined MediaDollarz, I verified my account by entering in my phone number and a robot called me (for free), with a verification number. After entering that number, $2.50 was credited for my account. Now if I got $2.50 every time I gave somebody my number, I'd have quite a bit of money. Not once h...

Review my Blog, get a Top Link Position
2007-03-23 22:46:57
At your first impressions of the post title, you're probably thinking "he's ripping of John Chow!". Well, in a way, I am. But it's such a great idea - and I'm not just offering a simple linkback, I'm offering a top spot link position on the blog for two weeks. All you have to do to get the free top link for two weeks is write a review of my blog on your own blog (category doesn't matter), making sure to link here using the anchor text "AGLOCO" or "AGLOCO referral tips", email me at dominateagloco@gmail.com with the link to your post, and then your link will be placed in the queue. There will only be a maximum of three links up at any two-week period, so you'll be notified when your link is put up. Also, your post must be directly about Dominate AGLOCO, and at...

Marketing Pond - Now a Community
2007-03-20 02:54:56
A few days ago I made a post about Marketing Pond - a new tool by Valerie Underhill for referring AGLOCO members. At the time of that post, Valerie was setting up a forum on the site, for members to discuss the various programs used by Marketing Pond. Well, it's up and running now, but now as good as launch as I would've hoped for. When I first clicked the forum link on the left-hand sidebar, I instantly assumed that the email from Valerie was wrong, and that there wasn't a forum yet, for the link just led me to the same page it used to. However, on closer inspection, I saw a small link to the forum near the top of the page. So, I clicked it.Marketing Pond ForumsIf you looked at the URL of the forum link, you'd n...

Dominate AGLOCO is being dominated by Internet Explorer
2007-03-19 06:24:28
I don't often check, but I was told that this blog doesn't display correctly when using Internet Explorer, but works fine using FireFox. I'm really getting tired of these blog errors. When viewed in IE, Dominate AGLOCO has no sidebar. Well, it does, you just have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see it, so it's as good as gone. I'm trying to get some more help on the issue, so if you'd like to help just leave a comment with what you think might be the problem. If you manage to fix it, you'll get your site or blog reviewed in the "blog's fixed" post, but only if you help via comment. Otherwise, you just get kudos.......

New Ads - Auctions, In-text and Affiliate
2007-03-18 01:58:27
There have recently been some new ads placed on the blog. Hopefully this will generate more income for the blog, and that new server will come quicker. The most recent additions are the MediaDollarz banners you see at the top of every post. I like MediaDollarz because there's no minimum payout, so once I've earned enough for the server, I can use it instantly. The banners are fairly new, only being released to the members a couple days ago. There are more banners, displaying Sony PS3's, iPod's, XBOX 360's, Nintendo Wii's, all of which you can earn on the site. I didn't choose one of those ads, because I thought it would look too much like all those iPod scams out there.A few days ago came Kontera In-Text advertising. These are small links displayed on the b...

GoodLeadsOnly -> MediaDollarz
2007-03-17 08:22:31
You may have seen lately some ads on the blog advertising GoodLeadsOnly, a GPT program where you get paid for completing various free offers, much like CashCrate. I haven't yet blogged about the site yet, but will soon. This post is just to let you know that recently, GoodLeadsOnly has been renamed to MediaDollarz. Personally, I don't like the "z" at the end of the name, loses credibility (although I've already been paid from them).Taken from an official message sent to all members a few days ago: Dear GoodLeadsOnly member,Affective tomorrow GoodLeadsOnly.com will become MediaDollarz.com. During this switch the site might be down for a few hours. Your GoodLeadsOnly link will still work after this, but it will redirect to MediaDollarz. Your reference links will also work, however it is re...

Am I as Evil as John Chow?
2007-03-16 06:59:15
If you've visited John Chow's blog, you'd know he makes some pretty evil deals. If you, haven't, I'd say that his blog has a lot of great content on it - fresh posts every day and a great archive of information. He has a nice layout, except his blog isn't solely about cars (contrary to the Zonda in the header), although it does give it a nice touch. Regularly he posts about making money from his (or your) blog, SEO tactics, technology, online businesses, and generally topics about how to make money online. For every few posts he makes about these topics, he'll make one about some fancy high-class restaurant he has a meal at; honestly, I'd prefer KFC. Every now and then he'll state about how evil he is, how he saves so much mon...

Marketing Pond - Set your AGLOCO Network on Autopilot
2007-03-14 04:31:49
Valerie Underhill, AGLOCO Top Gun, recently contacted me about her new site that will help everyone who uses it get lots of referrals for not only AGLOCO (though it is the main target), but a lot of other paying programs out there on the net. I was quick enough to be the 12th member to join :)Marketing Pond - Sink or Swim is a fairly simple concept, you simply sign up (100% free), enter your referral I.D.s for the programs currently available, and then use the free tools and ideas to promote Marketing Pond.Signing up is easy, you can visit Marketing Pond using my referral link here, and then by clicking "Sign Up" in the top navigation bar. Once you're a member, you should then e...

Modified Kawasaki Rose
2007-03-10 20:21:23
I spent last night folding a few origami roses - a modified version of the Kawasaki Rose to be exact. Yes, I do origami. One of my numerous hobbies, so I thought I'd give my readers a bit of insight into it. I started about half a year ago, I saw a folded crane and instantly thought - I want to know how to do that. So, whenever I fold a new model, I'll post it up here.Modified Kawasaki RosesI made a few with calyxes and stalks earlier, but I gave them away.......

Forum Advertising - Pitching AGLOCO to Like-Minded People
2007-03-10 00:09:25
If you're about the web a lot, no doubt you've encountered many forums, some of which you love, some of which you hate. Either way, they can be a great place to spread the word about AGLOCO, and grow your network. If you don't know what a forum is, you've got a lot of catching up to do. Basically, it's a site where a bunch of like-minded people talk about various topics, but usually specific ones (there are sports forums, motorbike forums, origami forums, etc). If you talk a lot, you'll get known in the community, and people will pay more attention to you. Some forums like MyLot pay you to post, giving you money through revenue sharing.I'm a "contributing" member of a couple large and small ...

Feeds by FeedBurner
2007-03-09 15:09:27
You can now get your daily dose of Dominate AGLOCO through FeedBurner, which you can subscribe to on the right-hand side of this page. That's pretty sweet. For some reason though, it's a bit messy - it switches between xml and the FeedBurner page, and now it's starting to show the posts from first to last, instead of newest first. Hopefully when I hit "Publish" it should fix though. But yeh, whenever a new tip about splash pages, MySpace, or distant friends comes along, you'll get the details shortly after they're posted.A good AGLOCO referral tip is coming within the next 20 hours, so brace yourself. Good luck with your network, may it grow bigger than a sumo wrestler.Carl (BBBN2423)Dominate AGLOCO......

Prioritise your AGLOCO Campaigns - Become a More Efficient Referrer
2007-03-09 04:45:54
Using many different referral techniques is a good idea to quickly inflate your AGLOCO network, but organising and remembering them all can easily become a daunting task. By making a list prioritising your different referral campaigns, you'll become more organised, time-efficient and your referral numbers will grow at a faster rate. The first thing you have to do is make a list of all your AGLOCO referral campaigns - creating and distributing business cards, earning credits for your splash on traffic exchanges, inviting people to join your MySpace group, telling a friend who you know would be interested, and all your other campaigns.Once you've created you (hopefully extensive) list, you then need to set tasks that each ...

You're Missing out on AGLOCO Referrals - and Here's Why
2007-03-09 04:44:37
If you're an active member in the AGLOCO community, you've probably read the discussions about referrals not being credited on the Company Blog. If you're not that active, I encourage you to read them now - it could be a changing decision for you. If you don't want to read it, let me explain it all to you here. There are complaints regarding the referral system, some being user interface errors, and others being more serious ones - ones effecting whether or not you get credited for your referral. Here are the current problems being brought up by members:The cookie is too short. No, not the cookie from the cookie jar, but the cookie that AGLOCO stores to ensure that you get credited. So the user can surf the site, and you ...

Don't Put All Your Money on the One Horse
2007-03-09 04:44:06
Although AGLOCO is set to be big (in my eyes, anyway), it's not the only online money-making company out there. In light of the recent AGLOCO controversy (see my previous post), you may want to spend a bit more time focusing on another stream of online income. What I'm talking about is CashCrate, a site that pays you to complete various offers. In this post I'm oging to tell you about CashCrate - what it is, how in works, how much you can earn, etc.CashCrateThe first thing that really appealed to me when I went onto their site was the layout - I love it. It's clean, easy to navigate, and a sweet crate up the top. It gives you all the information you need, and it's easy to find more.Earning MoneyYou earn money by completing offers - whether it be filling out...

Site Updates and Future Plans
2007-03-08 02:53:46
First of all, I'd like to point out that you can now access this site via both http://www.dominateagloco.com/ and http://dominateagloco.com/. There was an issue with the redirect and forwarding that I hadn't noticed, but it's all been cleared up now :)You may have noticed some new "New Server - xx.xx% there!" text on the right-hand sidebar. That's just that - I'm saving up for a server using Lunar Pages. The money earned from the ads goes straight towards this, and when it reaches 100%, I'll move the blog to the new server. A new server will enable a few things on the blog:For starters, it will (hopefully) be faster than Blogger (my current host), so you'll be able to get your AGLOCO referral tips with increased speed, which should help you save those precious seconds of referral time.Seco...

Splash Pages - An Essential Part of a Thriving Network
2007-02-23 10:13:00
If you're serious about AGLOCO and building your network, then you've got to have a splash page giving people more info about AGLOCO, and links to sign up. Giving people your direct referral link will get some referrals, but not as much, and they won't be as motivated to build your downline. A splash page also shortens your URL into something easier to remember, and if you make a mistake typing out your referral I.D., then your referral is earning, but not for you.You may currently be asking "What the hell is a splash page?", so firstly I'll explain it to you. A splash page is a small page explaining the benefits of a certain product to the people you direct to it. In this case, the product is AGLOCO, and the people who you are directing it to are you pot...

Distant Contacts, Distant Social Groups, A Huge Network
2007-02-22 08:13:00
On my last post I gave some detailed information on recruiting close friends and family. But what about the friends and family you're not so close with? The ones who you just talk to every now and then, see them every once in a while, but don't really have any deep conversation with? In this post I'm going to give some ideas on how to get them to join your network, and build your downline. I'm not going to go into as much detail as I did with my last post, for I feel that I'd just be repeating a lot of things.First of all, I'd like to offer you a bit of encouragement to try and get these friends, family and coworkers to earn money for you - not only will it benefit you financially, but also socially. Initiating conversati...

Close Friends, Family and Coworkers - The Definitive Guide to Making them Build your Downline
2007-02-20 09:26:00
If you're reading this, you've most likely, or definitely tried getting referrals through your close friends, family, and coworkers, but STOP. You're probably not using the most effective method. The most common mistake people make when trying to get close friends and family to join AGLOCO is that they're not reminding themselves that since they are close to you, and know you well, they will listen to what you have to say, and pay full attention whilst doing so. When trying to get them to join, do it face-to-face. This is a much more effective method to get them interested in joining under your network, because it makes them feel as though they were worth the time and effort to be told about the company. When you personall...

Why I want you to Dominate AGLOCO
2007-02-19 11:57:00
I started this blog due to the impending, never ending question that I hear from almost every single AGLOCO member trying to build their network - "how do I get referrals?".There are a plethora of referral tips, techniques and tactics out there, but none in the one place. Most AGLOCO blogs have posts relating on discussion of building your network, and comments expanding on them. But who has all the time sorting through these posts to find a couple lines of good advice? Not the regular AGLOCO member; their time is usually spent trying to build their network, or even just sitting back and watching it grow. This is where Dominate AGLOCO comes in - your #1 resource for building your AGLOCO network. From expanded (and more ef...
