NO ‘EFFING’ FOR JOHN AND KATRINA IN NEW YORK!
2009-05-03 12:56:00
The Censor Board has objected to the use of the ‘F’ word in a dialogue in the Yashraj film New York . The film, starring John Abraham , Katrina Kaif , Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan , is the story of a bunch of friends whose lives go for a toss after they are arrested as terror suspects following the attacks on the twin towers in New York. There is a scene in the movie where Irrfan Khan says the ‘F’ word quite loudly. The Censor Board officials found the dialogue objectionable and told the director that it could be cleared only if the film gets an ‘A’ (Adults Only) certificate. But director Kabir Khan (who previously made Kabul Express ) doesn’t want to restrict his audiences....

ASH TO WORK WITH VIVEK AND SALMAN? WHAT A JOKE!
2009-05-01 21:07:00
One such funny rumour that took tinsel town by surprise was of Aishwarya Rai agreeing to act in a film with her two ex beaus Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi . The rumour said that director Satish Kaushik had managed to do the impossible by getting Ash’s nod to star opposite the two male actors in his movie titled ‘Tansen’. Now, this is a kind of rumour that stumped the happily married Ash more than anyone. While. She has graciously chosen to ignore the gossip rather than waste her time denying it, Kaushik, who has been flooded with calls about the casting coup, is upset, to say the least. The director says that far from approaching Vivek or Salman for his film, he has not even talked to Ash about it. So the question of Ash working with the two male stars doesn’t arise ...

WHY ASIN HAD TO SAY ‘NO’ TO PRIYAN & AKKI!
2009-05-01 19:17:00
If director Priyadarshan had had his way it would have been Asin in his latest venture, DE DANA DAN, along with the likes of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal. But it was not slated to be so and hence a casting coup of sorts went a begging. So, what exactly went wrong? Well, for that matter, nothing! And please do not jump to conclusions, the next southern 'superstarni' in the making, Asin, is not getting too carried away with. The All Time Blockbuster success of her debut Hindi film, GHAJINI, and has not rejected Priyan's offer for any controversial reason. It's just that she simply stuck to her principal of accepting roles that are challenging and of some substance, one which offer her the scope to showcase her acting skills, and so she reluctantly refused Priyan's tempting off...

2009-05-01 19:05:00
After naming a Milkshake after her, Mallika Sherawat has become the point of envy for her co-stars in Bollywood. The most hit by Mallika's success is Bollywood hottie Kangana Ranaut who has decided to lock horns with Mallika this time. We hear, Kangana wants to become the most hot-bod actress in town and take the credit away from Mallika for being so. As part of this plan, Kangana is deliberately signing films with bold scenes and maximum exposure to make her new image a reality.  Well, after doing some raunchy scenes in her past films, we wonder what exactly Kangana means by getting bolder next time....

SONAM KAPOOR LOSES COVETED ROLE TO RIVAL KATRINA KAIF
2009-05-01 18:55:00
Delicate darling Sonam Kapoor probably must be sobbing on papa Anil Kapoor’s shoulders for comfort. The little girl has lost a much-coveted role to none other than the glorious hurricane, Katrina Kaif. According to sources, Sonam was eyeing a role in a film, directed by Dibakar Bannerjee of ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’ fame, but the director thought that Katrina was more suited for the role. Even though Sonam had a reliable line of communication with Dibakar through his friend Abhay Deol (also the leading man in Sonam's home production ‘Ayesha’), she lost her sheen in front of the breathtakingly beautiful Katrina. And moreover, Katrina bagged the role for her much-criticised British accent. The film, which also stars Imran Khan and Abhay Deol, was evidently written w...

WE DIDN`T TEACH ACTING TO RANBIR NEETU SINGH
2009-05-01 13:22:00
Her son is a star and she too is making a comeback with "Do Dooni Chaar" after more than two decades, but Neetu Singh says that neither she nor her actor husband Rishi Kapoor has ever tried to coach Ranbir despite having so many years of experience in Bollywood. "This is something that we were very sure about since the very beginning of Ranbir`s career. He has been doing his own stuff. `Saawariya` as well as `Bachna Ae Haseeno` have shown that he has been making smart choices and succeeding quite well," Neetu Singh told reporters. "We never thought of teaching acting to Ranbir. Whatever he has done, he has done on his own. Of course, whenever he has needed any help. We have always been there just like any other parents would be. But beyond that it`s always up to him on ...
