Well, as much fun as that was... I wish the media would stick to questions about the film because I just want to know more about the damn film. But on the other hand, it's not like anyone can force her to answer a personal question. It may annoy her, but why cause a stir with a 'contract' when she can just refuse to answer?
Honestly, I am not sure if I buy the 'it wasn't me, my rep put it out' thing. Surely, she had to approve of the idea in some form before it was put out there. I mean, if I were unimaginably famous and could attempt to make 'excessive' demands... I would.

I really love these candids. Now I loves me some dark, brooding Angelina as much as the next girl, but it's great to see her smiling so much and looking so flawlessly put together. Some people say that her style is horribly boring, what with the black all the time. But you know what? That's completely fine with me. Give me simple, clean, natural, boring perfection any day.
Which brings me to my somewhat off-topic rant...

Awww! TMZ has a lovely new video of Angelina dropping Zahara and Pax off at school. No need for her to work out lugging those two chunks around. I wonder if it's a normal thing for her to literally carry her kids and their bags to school, or if it's just a once-in-a-while type thing.

Here are some new pictures of Angelina promoting A Mighty Heart in Cannes this past weekend, being so perfect it hurts my gin-soaked little head. So gorgeous and fantastically thin and gorgeous... It almost seems wrong for one person to look like that.

| Esquire, Marie Claire, and Ocean's 13 L.A. premiere |

Yay for fun stuff! Angelina is going to be on the cover of two magazines very soon, Esquire and Marie Claire. Both feature photo spreads and interviews. The July issues of both magazines will be available on new stands around June 12th.
So, the Esquire shoot is just very... yeeeah. She's all naked and stuff, and then there's the whole kinky sex ring issue that I'm not fully prepared to delve into at the moment. It's dangerously close to some old school Marlboro smokin', brother kissin', Billy Bob blood wearin' shit, and I approve.
In the Marie Claire interview, Angelina kindly elaborates on what it takes to get her to open up: "I talk a lot in the bath. It’s easier to talk when you’re naked ... Get naked with me, and I’ll talk!" Which... sounds like some sort of trick to me. Angelina, I think we need to talk about this. Here are a few untagged, mid-res photos from the multi-page spread. See, this is why I love her. Louboutin pumps with a $26 thrift store dress. Fantastic.
This is random, but I just realized that she never really poses for photographers on the red carpet, and specifically never does the wildly popular 'weight on one leg, leaning slightly forward, hand on the hip to make myself look thinner' pose. Not that she needs to, at all. Somehow she manages to appear standoffish and relaxed at the same time.
As I'm sure you're well aware, after the show it's the after party...

Jewtastic is reporting that Sarah Silverman recently met Angelina while she was shooting a commercial near the Sarah Silverman Show lot, and subsequently spazzed out like a super nerd.
“Angelina Jolie was shooting a commercial for Japan right next door to us. And we all decided to write outside that day,” she says. “She came over and said hi and said she watches the she show. She’s so strikingly beautiful. None of us could work the rest of the day until we knew she was gone. It was so pathetic.”
'Course that got me thinkin' about what I'd do if I ever just sort of ran into her, and I've decided that I would probably just lay down and die which is unfortunate. I mean, what does a normal person say to Angelina Jolie? I need to work on this before I go back to New Orleans......

I made my mother tape The Today Show for me this morning, and I've got my stuff set to record Dateline tonight. Probably won't get to watch it till late tomorrow night, though. The insomnias got me last night, so I am going to bed early. And I gotta work all day tomorrow. Boo. But I've heard it's good.
So, apparently Angelina is taking 2008 off from acting, which leaves me 'hmm?'-ing about Atlas Shrugged. Sigh. A whole year... I am really gonna miss that hot crazy beotch. But also, why she gotta take a year off the day after I start my blog? WTF, Angie?...
