I don’t get to see my kids much on weekday mornings – I usually get them at the ratty end of the day – so it would be great to get up early and spend time with them while they were fresh and perky.We’d pick up almond croissants from our local café and devour them with cups of tea and scrambled eggs before heading out to church with my husband, Derek. Then it would be off to London Zoo. We visit so often, I think my daughter has probably seen more lions and tigers in her life than sheep! First up would be the new rainforest exhibit, which is fantastic. It has all sorts of creepy crawlies and is really hot so you can feel what it might be like to experience that climate. Then we’d move onto my son Billy’s favourite, the penguins, before a picnic lunch in the sun. Read Rest of Article
