DMX has been arrested and slapped with a felony charge of taking the identity of another at a Phoenix mall.
Details were not readily available at press time.DMX, real name Earl Simmons, was booked at the Maricopa County jail.
Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Hill did not offer additional information, but did state that the arrest originated from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office case, the Associated Press reports.
The Maricopa County Sheriff did not return request for comment.
