Am I A Fireman Yet?
2008-06-23 12:05:00
In Phoenix , Arizona , a 26-year-old mother stared down at her 6 year old son, who was dying of terminal leukemia. Although her heart was filled with sadness, she also had a strong feeling of determination. Like any parent, she wanted her son to grow up and fulfill all his dreams. Now that was no longer possible. The leukemia would see to that. But she still wanted her son's dream to come true. She took her son's hand and asked, 'Billy, did you ever think about what you wanted to be once you grew up? Did you ever dream and wish what you would do with your life?'Mom my, 'I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up.'Mom smiled back and said, 'Let's see if we can make your wish come true.'Later that day she went to her local fire Department in Phoenix , Arizona , where she met Fireman Bob, ...

'Extreme Makeover' of Michelle Obama
2008-06-19 13:38:00
Is her makeover going to work?We are finding out the truth about Obamas. Now, Michelle Obama tries to re-invent herself to get women voters particularly Hillary Clinton supporters. She has been painted as an unpatriotic, angry, black woman. Now, Michelle Obama is in process of ‘extreme makeover’ for her image as kinder, gentler, and soften Michelle Obama. It’s attempt to get critical women voters. Michelle Obama appeared on ABC’s “The View” Wednesday with her new image. Originally she was invited as a guest but she requested to be a host as Cindy McCain appeared on the same show previously.Obama has been whining just about everything including about his wife being criticized because what she said ab...

Join Energy Independence Campaign
2008-06-18 12:25:00
Our Declaration of Energy Independence this 4th of July: Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less By Newt Gingrich For Americans, the 4th of July is about more than the birth of our country. It's about the will of the people triumphing over the will of the elite. It's a day that celebrates a document, the Declaration of Independence, with a revolutionary premise: Governments are created to secure the God-given rights of citizens, not to grant them their rights. On the 4th of July, we all remember what Ronald Reagan told us, that we are a nation with a government, not the other way around. This 4th of July, as the price of gas tops $4 a gallon, the will of the people is triumphing over the will of the elite once again. As I writ...

Oil and Troble
2008-06-17 15:43:00
by Bill O'ReileyPosted: 06/14/2008The gas station guy in my town is exhausted from climbing the ladder every day in order to change the price sign. Of course, it's up, up and away. High gas prices, I predict, will become the biggest issue in the presidential campaign. This week, Republican senators blocked a Democrat-sponsored bill that would have imposed a "windfall profits" tax on the five major oil companies. Since these companies made about $36 billion in profits in the first quarter alone, "windfall" may be understating it.The GOP says the bill would not have lowered gas prices as any tax punishment would be passed along to gasoline consumers. But let me break this to the Republicans gently: Folks are angry with the oil companies. Unless you guys can help bring some relief to beleaguer...

JESUS Walked Everywhere.
2008-06-13 11:14:00
A joke...A teenage son came to his father and asked, " Dad, I'm old enough to drive now and I need a car."The father promised him he would buy his son a car if he accomplishes three things by the end of his semester; cut his long hair, his grades up, and cleans his act like Jesus. After the end of the semester, the son came to his father and said, "Dad, I have done everything you asked for and I deserve the car you promised."Dad looked at his son and found that he still has a long hair.Dad asked, "Son, you still have a long hair."Son replied, "Dad, I thougt about it and found out that Jesus had a long hair."Dad smiled and replied, "Son, Jesus walked everywhere."......

Clint Eastwood vs. Spike Lee
2008-06-10 13:04:00
It’s ironic that Spike Lee is complaining about Clint Eastwood not casting black actors in his film Letters from Iwo Jima(2006) and Flags of Our Fathers(2006) since there is hardly a white actor in Spike Lee’s films.Spike Lee criticized Clint Eastwood at the Cannes Film festival last month about Clint Eastwood’s film ‘Flags of Our Fathers' saying, “Clint Eastwood made two films about Iwo Jima that ran for more than four hours total, and there was no one Negro actor on the screen.” The feud escalated when Eastwood responded Spike Lee’s criticism with ‘shut his face’.The movie Flags of Our Fathers is about famous flag-raising picture and the story evolved around solders that were in it. There was neither black solder in the picture nor in the film. However, Lee’s accusati...

Is Scott McClellan a Modern Day Judas Iscariot or Opportunist?
2008-05-30 14:26:00
We have seen and heard it all about betrayal since the birth of a human the God created. Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan is the epitome of Washington’s Culture of Deception.Ironically, he named his upcoming memoir book next week, What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception which is based on his experience as a White House press secretary for three years and from Texas days with Bush. His book feeds the Bush-bashing press field days.According to McClellan in his book, the press in the White House briefing room turned out to be “badly misguided” and “Bush displayed a lack of inquisitiveness’: the administration operated in a permanent campaign mode,” or that “the Iraq war ‘was not necessary.”While he was in White House...

Daddy, how was I born?
2008-05-15 10:55:00
A joke from a friendA little boy goes to his father and asks 'Daddy, how was I born?'The father answers, 'Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. Then I set up a date via email with your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared that said: 'You got Male!'......

LOOK UP
2008-05-02 13:02:00
You see things in different perspective. The other day I heard something interesting from Dr. David Jeremiah about looking things in perspective. I want to share it with you.We tend to be discouraged and to lose enthusiasm when times are tough economically. Particularly, we see what’s going on now; how many homes are in foreclosures, gas and food prices are going up, people are losing jobs, and there are food shortages in some countries. We hear discouraging news day in and day out.Once in a while, one person’s wisdom can bring about hope and happiness to many of us by looking things in different perspective. According to Dr. Jeremiah, we have choice to look AROUND, look DOWN, or look UP when we go through tough times. We can look around and see all the bad news surrounding our lives an...

Pressure is On...

Hillary vs. ObamaThe primary presidential election heats up; democratic candidate Hillary and Obama are too close to end for the democratic presidential nomination. So far, Obama got more super delegates on his side but he couldn’t close the deal in Philadelphia after appearing of Rev. Wright’s YouTube video. Since then, Hillary gained a couple of more super delegates and got popular votes in Philadelphia. Even though, super delegate votes determine the nomination; Hilary and her supporters might drag the primary election into mud until the end for claiming the popular votes as a reason to be the democratic nominee. Hillary might think she deserves the nomination and so it seems after Rev. Wright's controversial comments.Questions about Hillary's likeability and trust worthy pushed awa...

The Power of Truth
2008-04-17 13:58:00
"There is no such a thing as an inconsequential lie." Gary KingI haven't heard anything like this for a long time. It is a refreshing breath of air. He gave me the opportunity to look into myself again and to pay attention to what I say and what I do.His teachings come from his own life experience and realization lead him to 'The Power of Truth'. He told us that any, even a little white lie that intended to protect beloved one's feelings has a consequence. It doesn't do anyone a favor by trying to protect him/her from the truth. No matter how insignificant we think the lie is there is a consequence. For example, we often tell our spouses or friends how nice they look when they ask our opinion on their appearance even though they look crappy. Because we don't...

Rottweiler named 'JESUS'
2008-04-16 11:28:00
A joke makes us smile. There is a thief breaking into a home.Once he’s inside, out of darkness comes a voice.“Jesus is watching you.”He said, “Who said that?”He looked around with his flashlight and spotted a parrot. He asked the parrot, “Did you say Jesus is watching you?”The parrot said, “Yes.” The thief asked, “Are you Jesus?”The parrot said, “No, I’m Moses.” And the thief said, “What kind of crazy people would name a parrot Moses?”The parrot replied, “The same kind of people who would name a 160 lb. Rottweiler ‘Jesus’.......

Laughin' up Fuzz Ball
2008-04-14 12:06:00
Funny JokeI heard this joke from a pastor who likes to tell a joke before his sunday service. Here goes;A old man is sitting in a boat in the lake and he's been fishing. Suddenly, he hears "Pick me up." He looks around but can not find where the sound is coming from. Again, he hears "Pick me up." He looks around and around, he can not find anything. He hears again, "Pick me up." Finally, he looks down in the water, he sees a frog sitting on a leaf in the water. The old man asks, "Did you say Pick me up?" The frog answers, "Yes" and says again "Pick me up."The old man picks the frog and looks at the frog. The frog looks back at him and says, "Kiss me. I will turn to your beautiful wife."The old man pause a minute and puts the frog in his shirt pocket. The frog looks at him and says, "What are ...

What is Easter meaning to you?
2008-03-20 12:57:00
Easter is not all about bunnies, egg hunting, and parades. Easter is one of the Christian’s important Holidays particularly for modern Christians. Christians celebrate Christmas for the birth of Jesus Christ and commemorate Easter for the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Perhaps, the meaning of Easter insures modern Christians that Jesus Christ is not just a man but He is in fact Son of God who had risen from the dead three days after his crucifixion. His victory over death and his resurrection symbolizes he is a living God and irrevocable proof of His message of eternal life. However, does Easter celebration represent true Jesus Christ’s resurrection? Or, is there another meaning that modern Christians do not know about? Easter did not...
