| My thoughts on McCain's VP pick |

Firstly, I have to say that politically, John McCain did something very smart by announcing his VP pick the day after Obama's historic speech last night. In my opinion McCain choosing a woman for his VP makes the pick "shocking" to just about anyone in 2008, and creates the need for investigation to any potential voter. He in essence took all the wind out of Obama's sails from the convention, and created the need and desire for voters to look harder at the Republican ticket.Immediately the Democrats are all over this pick due to the experience issue. Here's what I don't get. The Democrats are calling this a "checkmate" and negating the argument that the Republicans have against Obama's experience. Not quite...
