Find out your Palin name! - by Hose Hotrod Palin
2008-09-20 22:15:00
Here we have a palin name generator in an html widget. But sadly, the person who made it has turned it into a widget that shows his whole blog. So you have a blog in a blog post. You can still scroll down to make your palin family name, but it isnt nearly as fun. Please post your Palin names in the comments section. Remember the content of this little box is not mine, I just host it. Dont click on the adds, they will only produce spam, and reward this dude for ruining a fun little name generator.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This page uses a modified script from R2K, a Quake 3 page. The adds and content of this widget are not mine. If they cause problems leave a comment and I will remove. So far... the load times have been sl...

A Dream Date with Sarah Palin (The 'Cuda)
2008-09-16 10:52:00
My Dream Date with Sarah PalinSoon as I see our new VP, on national TVI dial Sarah Palin, just to ask her out with meAnd flipping her cute ponytail, she’ll readily agree!(Hey, anything can happen, ‘specially in fantasy)Our first date, ah, we’ll roast up books, over an open fireS’mores melt as Harry Potter burns upon the Palin pyreWe’ll sit on baby polar bears she killed in ‘92After asking (rhetorically), “Now, what would Jesus do?”I’ve got a lot of sympathy for Palin, don’t know whyIf she knew of my love she’d surely pop me in the eyeBut something keeps me hoping that her words are all a liePerhaps the way her eyes glow as she shoots wolves from the sky?Her family’s all-American – look there go Track and Trigg! How dare Obama directly call her a lipstick-wearing pi...

Webcam from the LHC
2008-09-13 16:40:00
Well it is the world's most expensive experiment (but less than the space station and moon landings), and here is a link to the webcam of the experiment and the country around it. Yeah really boring when I visited, but I think more action happens depending on the time of day there. Anyway, France looks nice.LHC...

Yes it is getting older... but to date I think few rifles can match the projection of force this gun can provide. Two or three sniper scout teams with two or three of these guns could deny a square mile of land to soft vehicles. Not to mention the utter fear factor. This gun will cut a man in half....

Food in China
2008-08-25 20:16:00
Some food from China. This was on Ebuams World, and the general idea was that it was gross. I may be the only one, but I find different foods interesting and always want to try new kinds. Not a single dish here sounds bad to me, I would like to try each one. Is it not a little strange how people can eat things like hotdogs - Americans eat nearly every part of the cow, pig, and chicken at some point - but hate the idea of eating dog, cat, or horse? An animal is an animal. I would never want to eat MY pet, but see no problem eating different things. Ive had rabbit, duck, quail, eel, snail, scorpion, cricket, and even drank a worm in a bottle. Somehow dog, cat, mouse, rat, horse... these things dont seem to strange anymore. Maybe people should have an open mind about experiences, rat...

Harrisonburg, VA - School Lunch
2008-08-20 10:04:00
A school in Harrisonburg, VA posted their school lunch choices online. They didnt expect media research to be going in a similar area of the World Wide Web. So I grabbed the pics. Some of them looked actually decent, so they were discarded because I cant make any jokes about them. Due to the huge number of images, I had to post them at medium size, rather than large, turning my previous post into a lie. Also, I have not yet come up with all the sarcastic - reality bites style Jeanine Garafalo, style jokes so those will come later in the day. Enjoy for now, post your own observations in the comments. I wont use them, because they wont be as funny as mine, but hey do it anyway, you know?BM.Its Italian to eat bread? Or is that nasty sauce what makes the dish so ethnic? Is that preggo in the...

Mars
2008-08-14 17:45:00
Phoenix Provides a Panorama of Mars:"Combining more than 400 images taken during the first weeks after the Phoenix arrived on the Red planet's arctic plain gave scientists this view of Mars. The full-circle panorama in approximately true color shows the polygonal patterning of ground at the landing area, similar to patterns in permafrost areas on Earth. The center of the image is the westward part of the scene. Trenches where Phoenix's robotic arm has been exposing subsurface material are visible in the right half of the image. The spacecraft's meteorology mast, topped by the telltale wind gauge, extends into the sky portion of the panorama. This view comprises more than 100 different camera pointings, with images taken through three different filters at each pointing."Image credit: NASA/JPL...

This is what happens when guys whos previous job was something like "greeter at hooters" or "fry man at McyDeez", joins EOD. Special forces like EOD are supposed to be the best of the best: they pride themselves on it, but this video shows something very different. It is hardly popular to say, but isnt it possible, or even likely, that thousands of US troops are actually immature teenagers from some poor town out in the country or some urban housing project? And in a post-war occupation, is there anything we need less than a bunch of crude teenagers who spend most of their time shooting things, blowing things up, torturing kids with candy and water bottles, throwing dogs off cliffs, etc? Even if these are isolated events (unlikely, eg: Abu Graib), they have a disproportional effect on t...
