| SQL Server Proximity Search |

George, a good friend of mine created a blog post showing how you can do a SQL Server Zipcode Latitude/Longitude proximity distance search without using the geography data type. I searched the internet to see if anyone had something similar with the geography data type available in 2008 and could not find anything that showed some useful stuff. Yes there is a lot available with geometry and polygons but nothing I was looking for. George challenged me and I did the 2008 version.
There is nothing really complicated. if you run this
DECLARE @g geography;
DECLARE @h geography;
SET @h = geography::STGeomFromText('POINT(-77.36750 38.98390)', 4326);
SET @g = geography::STGeomFromText('POINT(-77.36160 38.85570)', 4326);
SELECT @g.STDistance(@h)/1609.344;
You will see that the distance in miles between those two points is 8.8490611480890067
In the end the code runs between 15 and 60 millisecond to get all the zipcodes within 20 miles of zipcode 10028, pretty impressive if you ask me

as i got many mails on topic how to remove autorun.inf virus.today i want to explain some simple ways to remove autorun.inf virus manually
steps to be followed:
1)go to start--> RUN---> type CMD
2)type CD.. ( cd and two dots also )--->>again CD..
3)type
c:\ prompt
attrib a*.inf -h -a -s -r
del autorun.inf
4)Just change the drive letters C,D,E,F,G or any letters u assign to them

One Beep :
DRAM refresh failure
This may be due to - Bad memory chips
->> A bad DMA Chip
->> Bad memory addressing chips on the motherboard
Two Beeps :
Parity error or Parity Circuit failure
->>Your memory may not be seated properly on the mother board.
->>Unplug and plug it properly
Three Beeps :->>Bad memory or bad mother board
Four beeps :->>Timer failure in the RAM.
Five Beeps :->>CPU chip may be dead
Six Beeps :-->>Keyboard controller may have failed
Seven beeps :->>CPU is dead. Retry the connections and test.

There is nothing difficult in this ..to say simply jus scanning ur pc by connecting ur hard disk to other pc
many people format there hard disk totally even they have useful data cos of virus
but if we do follow these simple technique its very east
steps to be followed:
just connect your hard disk to one of ur friends computer who have updated antivirus-avira (Recommended)
when u connect the disk u can see extra drives in his system
just go scan drive by drive.when it detects a virus just check .delete the similar type files.u r done now.it will delete all the virus and u can see ur files are safe and in can if u loose some windows files u can just format windows drive
when you scan you can see that window .just check delete and u can also see another option to check "delete the similar type files" just check those 2 boxes.now you go do your work it will take some time ...depends on ur storage capacity and virus detections.now your harddisk is virus free with all your data...
