Improve your character
2009-02-02 16:22:10
Of all character traits, respect is the most important aspect. This is the key to overall success of a person whether in job or in personal life. People talk about the golden rule very often. It is relevant for all people and at all times. Respect others. That is the thumb rule. For winning friends in society, one should understand the sentiments of others and win their confidence. Money, wealth, beauty, power, prestige and any other such aspect is second only to character. A good character leads a person to the right path to becoming a kind human being. There are countless occasions when discord and disharmony is created in society for no reason. It is simply because of lack of respect. Give and take respect, say many people. Such slogans carry weight in the context of ...

Self-motivation
2009-01-29 11:29:37
Below are few valuable, bare & true secrets for self-motivation. I'm sure you can discover new life out of these.1.Don't compare yourself with any one in this world. If you compare, you are insulting yourself.2. No one will manufacture a lock without a key. Similarly God won't give problems without solutions.3. Life laughs at you when you are unhappy... Life smiles at you when you are happy... Life salutes you when you make others happy...4. Every successful person has a painful story. Every painful story has a successful ending. Accept the pain and get ready for success.5. Easy is to judge the mistakes of others. Difficult is to recognize our own mistakes. It is easier to protect your feet with slippers than to cover the earth with carpet.6. No one can go back and change a bad beginn...

World
2009-01-28 09:42:34
If I ask you to define the World, each person is going to give their own definitions. Some will define geographically, some based on people & some on races & may more. Just put some thought into it & try to understand the stuff a bit deeply. It is just the reflection of your inside mind. If you are happy, you will see all good things around you. If you are sad, only bad things around you will be visible. You can’t imagine good things at that moment. The way you will try to look at the world, it will be the same way. For someone in love, the whole world & all the things around him are going to be beautiful than ever. Once you develop your inner mind, you will start enjoying your life in its own essence. Breathe fresh air.Life is beautiful.Visit my blog at http://anishpillai.blogspot.com

Time Management
2009-01-26 17:34:07
How many of us miss our bus for our office or school? How many of us feel, if had one more minute I would have done it? How many of us would have felt in exam, if I had some more I could have scored better? Time and Tide wait for none. Even bus won’t wait… Just kidding. We all plan a lot and see that we do not waste time. All we need to do is use each moment the day at the very best of its utilization. That will automatically manage your time without your knowledge. Try this. It really works.Visit my blog at http://anishpillai.blogspot.com

Divide and Conquer
2009-01-23 18:07:08
Everyone knows the benefit of the rule Divide and Conquer. How many of us implement this. I use this in my daily life. We all have small & big problems daily coming up in our day-to-day life. Facing those problems and resolving is what all about our lives. We prove ourselves strong & it gives us strength and confidence. Here’s how I use this formula in my daily life. If we take a problem as a problem, it is going to be big problem for us. Some times it can be even bigger. We won’t get idea where to start solving it & where to wind it up. That sort of situations, we need to divide it into fragments. Fragments should be self-sufficient & not too complicated. Make sure that the number of fragments should not be too much. If so, it will take too much of time & can...

Bliss
2009-01-21 17:00:35
Stand upon the Self, and then only can we truly love the world. Take a very, very high stand; knowing our universal nature, we must look with perfect calmness upon all the panorama of the world. It is but baby’s play and we know that, so cannot be displeased with blame. All pleasures of the senses or even of the mind are evanescent, but within ourselves is the one true unrelated pleasure, dependent upon nothing. It is perfectly free. It is bliss. The more our bliss is within, the more spiritual we are. The pleasure of the Self is what the world calls religion.Visit my blog at http://anishpillai.blogspot.com

President Obama addressing the Nation
2009-01-21 06:18:15
My fellow citizens: I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition. Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. The words have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and the still waters of peace. Yet, every so often the oath is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because We the People have remained faithful to the ideals of our forbearers, and true to our founding documents. So it has been. So it must be with this ...

Youth V/s Parents
2009-01-19 14:57:52
Yesterday I watched a very inspiring Indian movie named "Fitting Master". Though the tile & content of the movie were not matching, it was a total message oriented. I want to share the moral of the story with you people. Young guys concentrate a lot on flattering the opposite sex. Instead, if they spend the same amount of concentration on their studies & career; that will help the nation to grow better. Why does the young blood think that they know better about the human characters better than their parents? Our parents have seen the world more than us. I do not even mean that youth doesn't have sense of justification about the good & bad. What-ever our parents tell, its all for our good. So, if they keep telling not to do something; just try to think over it with...
