2012-02-02 15:03:00
X-posted from Once Upon a Bookcase. The Catastrophic History of You and Me by Jess Rothenberg (ARC) - If I'd known right then that this was the kid who would grow up to break my heart beyond repair, maybe I would've stayed upstairs on the phone with Tess.Maybe I would've gone to bed early. Maybe I would've begged my parents to take me with them - even though those doctor dinners are pretty much the boringest things ever. But I didn't know. Couldn't know. So instead I shrugged and said something really genius like "Um, whatever." And proceeded to fall totally, madly, crazy in love. From Puffin.co.ukAfter reading the blurb and title, I picked up this book thinking I was in for a nice romantic love story that went wrong, and how I would get to read about the whole romance from start to finish, ...

MV Reading Challenge 2012: January Link-Up UPDATED
2012-01-01 03:00:00
Happy New Year, everyone! Here is your post to link up your January reviews for the Morganville Vampires Reading Challenge 2012! For the sign-up post, go here.Due to conversations I've had with publishers regarding prizes, the way I'm going to have people enter for the prizes is going to be a little different to what you see on other blogs. People will have to opt in to enter, rather than just submitting a review.Unfortunately, the publishers I have contacted are only able to send prizes to their own countries - the UK and the US - so there won't be one prize pack everyone can enter to win. Those outside The UK and the US won't be able to enter - I'm sorry, but I have no control over where the publishers send the prizes, I'm afraid. Hopefully you'll still continue with the challenge anyway....
