Normally before I buy I book I do a bit of research on the author, read some excerpts from their website, and try to decide if I like their writing style and the premise of their books before buying them. I understand that what one person recommends is what another person puts down, and I understand that sometimes a reader and an author's styles clash, and while that is unfortunate, not every book can appeal to every reader.However, I did none of this type of research for Dawn Thompson's Lord of the Deep. So I started this blog because I wanted to review books that I've read in the Romance and Romantica Genre. Unfortunately, the way I set the blog up was much too formal, and I found myself getting frustrated with the format I had set up for the reviews.
