Wasuppppp!! I’ve Got Link Love!
2007-03-17 10:25:38
A friend of mine, Mike Scott came out with this idea. It’s very much like the A-list and Z-list but there is no specific requirements to be listed. You can add any blog in the list. Be it your friends’ blog, blog that you read a lot, blog that you love or mayble your grandma’s blog (don’t laugh! In some ways, they know a lot more than the youngster ). So, this is how you do it:
1) Copy and paste the list below into your blog post. Make sure that all the links work.
2) Add any blogs you want to the list, including the blog that listed you (this blog).
The List:
- Making Money on the Web
- Steve Wilson Marketing
- The Thinking Blog
- Affiliate Marketing Wave
- Alaeddin’s Blog
- John Hok Dot Com
- Current World News
- Personal Learning Area
- Life Rocks!
- Simple Informations
- I Found It On The Internet
- Sabahan Dot Com
- The Bit Bucket
There you go! Simple right? Go on, spread the Link of Love! And don’t just link them, Read them!

Web CEO - SEO Supported by Angels
2007-03-11 19:35:26
First of all, I would like to disappoint you all. NO, there are no angels with shining rings on their heads supporting this software called Web CEO. So, those with a wicked personality, don’t be afraid. They won’t tell your momma what you are doing on the internet. You are safe doing your thing. Whatever it is. Anyway, for your information they actually do have a customer care team famously named as “Support Angels“. If you have a lot of free times, give them a call and say hi. They might have a soothing voice to relieve your tension after recklessly doing your thing.
Okay, enough with that silly introduction. Let’s get into business. Why should you know Web CEO? Well, I’ve used it to submit my blog to about 200 search engines and directory just with a click! Now, who doesn’t want that? That was the first thing that I did 2 months ago before doing some other SEO routine that I’ve mentioned in my previous post entitled; my blog has been indexed in l...

Will The Real Spam Shady Please Stand Up?
2007-03-03 22:51:51
My blog was visited by a spam bot last night. The bot was a funny and kind creature. It gave my blog some compliments and also some links that it has found along the way. Anyway, the bot should be taught a lesson about linguistic programming. If it can’t handle that, at least teach that thing to say something that is more readable and logical like this:
Hi, I have a nice time reading your blog (make this part random, use a compliments phrase library…). I’ve also found some good links that might interest you. Check them out!
link1
link2
bla… bla.. bla… (even better put only 1/2 links, then go to next post please…)
There you go… Keep up rocking the net. Here’s a screenshot for your spam last night. Use it as your reference.

2007-03-03 03:30:45
If you have installed or upgraded to WordPress 2.1.1 within 3-4 days ago, then you should upgrade them NOW! It seems that a cracker has gained a user-level access to one of the servers at wordpress.org and modified the download file for WordPress 2.1.1. If you are using WordPress 2.0, then you MAY not be subjected BUT why take the risk? Do your backup and run your upgrade script. Read the whole story at WordPress Blog.

Would you kill your student?
2007-03-03 01:29:18
I was once worked as a lab demonstrator for basic C programming in my university. My job was to conduct the lab session and of course helping my lecturer to do marking for exam papers. I love the job and I love my lab’s students. In fact they were my close friends at that time. I’m grateful because I myself has learnt a lot while teaching them. Believe me, the more you teach, the more you will learn.
So, what’s up with “Would you kill your student?”. Well, I’ve seen weird answers for exam questions but I’ve never seen something like what you can see from the pictures below. Believe me, they are some of the “killing” answers that a teacher could have. I don’t care if the pictures were edited or hoaxes. They just kill me! Enjoy! (thanks to padandpanty for the pics) Click picture to enlarge.
Now… Would you kill your student? Nah… I think they kill you first.

Background Image For Your Adsense Ads
2007-02-25 23:06:03
Last night, I was playing around with my blog’s template when an Idea came out of my sleepy brain. Lucky for me. It might be the sleepy condition that made me think of it.
The idea was to give a Image">background image to my adsense code which is by now already up and running. You have been greeted by it when my blog loads up in your internet browser. It looks like a teared up notepad with Google ads on it.
At first, I thought that this customization might not comply to Google TOS. So, I surfed the internet and found out that this idea is actually not new. ( No big deal… It’s a big world after all. ) There are some sites that use it and also providing the background such as adsensebackgroundimages.com. They also confirmed that its usage is not breaking Google TOS. Good news.
So, this is how to make it:
First, you need to know the dimension of the ads that you are going to use. In my case I use a 336×280 text ads. You also have to know the background color valu...

You Need To Read This If You Blog At blogger.com
2007-02-23 16:59:59
If you host your blog at blogger.com, then this information is crucial for you to know. here’s the news; By default, the following meta tag is inserted into your blog: <meta name=”ROBOTS” content=”NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW” /> which is bad because the meta tag directly tell any search engine bots to not indexing your blog. That is INDEED a bad news unless, for some reasons you want your blog to stay invisible!??
Well, this condition only applies if you are using the default templates. If you have rigorously change your template then your blog may not be subjected to this problem. How to make sure of that? Just view your blog’s page source and search for NOINDEX or NOFOLLOW. To view your page source, right click on any blank section on your blog and from the pop-up menu, clik “view page source” if you are using Firefox, or “view source” if you are using Internet Explorer.
If you don’t see any of those two words, good news...

Google Buys Adscape for $23 Million
2007-02-19 23:29:57
After acquiring YouTube, it seems that Google won’t stop spreading its wings. Now, it is confirmed that Google has reached an agreement to acquire in-game ads firm; Adscape Media for $23 million! Well, the deal has not been closed yet but most certainly it will.
It has been speculated that even if Adscape hasn’t have a firm position in the in-game advertising market, Google is willing to acquire the company for its interesting technology patents; AdverPlay™. For sure, with Google’s vast resource they could use this technology as a backbone to move on in its new venture in this in-game ad business.
I wonder how Google ads would be displayed in video games. Would it be something like the famous text ads? Imagine playing FIFA 2007 with Google text ads along the side of the field? Anyway, I don’t think that the Google guys would be that dull. Surely they will come out with some cool ideas, right?

WPGlass Theme by Maryndor
2007-02-16 16:41:56
I’ve changed my blog theme to WPGlass by Maryndor. Great theme; slick design with a 3D look. I’m a 3D movie freak, that’s why it looks great for me!
It’s currently in version 1. Version 2 is under development and might support 2 column. Looking forward for it!
