MLA had a luminous day on the Friday just spent, raising funds for Breast Cancer!
The entire workplace had such an uproarious ambience with everybody smiling, teasing and participating in the games and we raised an extensive quantity of £420……..Go Team MLA!
The girls accountable for the day’s campaign and organisation were Vanessa Warburton, Rebecca Lewis, Leanne Caryl and Cleo Holsgrove. These beautiful persons planned a raffle to win a gift hamper, two crates of Fosters, champagne, wine, WH Smith vouchers and many more (none of which I won)!
On the day there were games of Guess the Baby Picture and Name the Celebrity from which a day off work could be won. These brought everybody collectively, particularly the Guess the Baby Picture competition as everyone was trying to speculate whose baby photograph belonged to who. The finest and largely funniest fraction of the day was when Cleo Holsgrove spotted Jamie Carragher from Liverpool Football Club at the reception and somehow ...

| The Big Challenge |

So here we are on a Wednesday afternoon, ought to be like any other but not for us here at MLA, we are absolutely buzzing!!!!
Today we have formally registered to do our initial big fundraising challenge next year for Help for Heroes, and where finest to begin than the Hadrian’s Wall Trek.
Opening in Carlisle, we will hike for 26 extended yet gorgeous miles, much of which will take us beside Hadrian’s Wall. As we saunter we will be able to esteem antique monuments, stunning landscape and the ability of the Roman engineers who built the famed landmark. I don’t know about you but this all sounds remarkable and we here at MLA are tremendously eager regarding this and can’t wait to commence our preparation.
It will be a rough day no doubt and several of us (just me actually) are feeling quite anxious too but it will structure an outstanding test for us all and we will be serving a superior foundation, so “BRING IT ON!” – (saying this whilst somewhat shaking in my heels)
