They are credited with influencing the fashion style of Madonna but
British electronica band Goldfrapp don't have much time for the pop
diva or other big acts they will be playing with this summer.
Grammy-nominated Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory, whose fourth
album "Seventh Tree" hit No. 2 in Britain in February, will share the
big stages at two outdoor British music festivals with hip-hop mogul
Jay-Z and Madonna.
"I think her fearlessness is amazing but I don't have particularly
any admiration for her work," Goldfrapp, dressed in tight blue jeans, a
shirt and sunglasses that were never removed, told Reuters in a recent
interview.
On Sunday, the group -- acclaimed for their breadth of musical
styles that canvas anything from pop to dance to glam rock -- kick off
a tour of European concerts and summer festivals starting at BBC's
Radio 1 music festival, where Madonna is also performing.

On Thursday (May 8), via a candy-as-sexual-metaphor-laden press
release, the Material Girl announced the itinerary of her worldwide
Sticky & Sweet Tour, which kicks off on August 23 in Cardiff,
Wales, and will make stops in most major European markets throughout
September, before heading stateside for an October 3 show at the Izod
Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

As you may have heard, the OLYMPIA theatre was previously booked for a french singer on May 6th, by Moustaki. Madonna's people contacted him and explained to him that she would only be available to play in paris at the OLYMPIA on MAY 6th and so he, to please madonna, gave her the opportunity to perform and rescheduled his show for her!!
To thank him for understanding, he got a VIP pass for the show tomorrow night. He said that it will be the first time seeing Madonna perform live.

Madonna Brings Out Her Inner Party Girl
We
have nothing but love for Madonna, but she was looking a little over
the top (even for her) in her fur and layers of gold chains as she
headed to tape 106 & Park in NYC yesterday. Maybe she was a bit hung over while she was getting dressed since she admitted to Ryan Seacrest that she and Justin Timberlake partied after their mini-concert Wednesday night. Madonna said,
"[We] decided we both work too hard and have to have fun. I had a shot
of tequila ... I may have had a lemon drop, too … We 'tied one on' as
they say." We all know that Madonna is one of Hollywood's hardest
workers, whether it is her family, her career or her rigorous fitness and diet regime, so we're relieved that she still knows how to cut loose every now and then.
