I put my youngest down for a nap at 11 am, but she would not sleep. I am unable to take that shower that I desperately need, but I finally do get her to sleep around noon. Oh, it pains me, as I must wake her up and put her in the car after a mere 30 minute snooze to take her older sister to drama camp. Maybe she can go back to sleep in the car. Maybe hell will freeze over, too.

....So, the required 5 minute wait was up. Ok, it was closer to four minutes- I have little patience for waiting around.
The appliance was warm to the touch at this point- not unpleasantly hot, just.... nice. Rather an agreeable 87.0 degrees, to be exact.

I know that one of my weaknesses is a lack of compassion for those who are sick. Not for folks who are legitimately sick like with cancer, Alzheimers, etc. (I'm not entirely devoid of empathy), but I have no patience for folks coughing, sneezing, snotting, and generally oozing their nasty microorganisms everywhere.
