I got my new elliptical. 2 days. Its only been 2 days and its already kicking my butt!!!!
I must say I am proud of myself because I put it together all by myself. I didn't have enough patience to wait for The Husband to get home.
I've been really good so far. I've worked out every day since Dec 26th. I am shocked and amazed that I've been able to get even just a little in every day. ...

As many of you know, my daughter was born with a congenital heart defect. Her father was also born with a CHD (different one) and is now waiting for a heart and lung transplant. I've had many family members who've had heart attacks or strokes.

Today in the girls' class they were reviewing antonyms. Up until now they knew them as opposites, but on the state tests, they are called antonyms. So their teacher is trying to drum this word into their little brains.

I've wanted a Shark Steam Mop for a while now. My kitchen floor is a very high traffic area and no matter how much I mop, it never looks, or feels clean. I've tried the Swiffer WetJet, and it worked great in my dining room, but in the kitchen, it wasn't cutting it. I even gave in and got on my hands and knees and scrubbed that way. That worked pretty well, but it put me in pain for days...

Yesterday while sitting in the waiting room at the doctors office, I was reading a local parenting magazine.
There was an article that talked about kids that learn to read and write by the age of 3 or 4. My son falls in this category, so I kept reading. Pretty much it talks about most of these children lose this ability by the time they hit 3rd of 4th grade.
I myself don't believe they lose...

We all make some sort of New Year's resolution, whether is be to get healthy to finding a new hobby. At some point in our lives we have all made one to lose weight.

Let me tell you, moving from the Los Angeles area to where we are now was one of the best things for our family.

The last day of school before winter break, the girls' teacher gave each child a christmas tree starter kit.
