My son was featured at August edition of KZone (Philippines), sports column. KZone is a magazine for children and teens and we used to buy monthly issues few years back. The interview and pictorial took place a day before he joined Men’s Health All Terrain Race which he won 3rd place for his age category. Take note that this was his first contest.

Since tomorrow was declared a special non working holiday, it is expected that the volume of people will surpass the number of Ninoy’s funeral. Although its sort of different now, our love for Tita Cory brings us together to bring her to her final resting place beside her beloved husband, our hero Ninoy.

The whole nation was shocked yesterday morning when they learned about former President Cory Aquino’s death at the age of 76. Although we knew that former President Aquino was suffering from colorectal cancer also known as colon cancer, we are still surprised because deep in our heart, we want her to be there during our battle against Con-Ass. But her time is up, all we can do is pay respect and offer prayers for her good soul. May she continue praying for us in heaven.

Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque had declared in Sunday the first Community Level Outbreak in Hilera, Nueva Ecija after 11 cases were positive of A(H1N1) wherein 10 are students of Hilera Elementary School and another 4 year old girl. 12 days from now, the influential talent manager of Philippine movie industry was supposed to celebrate his 65th birthday (June 25). He was found dead this morning at 10 am at his rest house in Lucban Quezon. Reports says that it could be heart attack which also confirmed by Quijano’s friend doctor.
