We went out for dinner last Saturday at La Lucania, a good Italian restaurant very close to our home, to celebrate its First Anniversary. Spent a couple of hours there sitting outside and enjoying the delicious Lamb steaks and grilled Salmons. Oh, and the good Wine too! There were a lot of people there, out to enjoy the good weather Weather has been fairly sunny and not too warm. Don't know how long until the rain spoils it again. This summer the weather has been pretty awful (wet, wet, wet!). Makes me wonder if all those talks about the climate change are much more serious than we think.

Been eating like hell for the past two days.... so much for sticking to a strict diet
Last night i had a very very weird dream :-
I was sitting in Coffee Bean Bangsar which happened to be in a secluded car park with a Rock band. They were shooting a video and i was in it. I was helping to lip sync the chorus. And hubby was sitting next to me, holding my hand. Smiling encouragingly even though i was making a lot of mistakes. And the rest of the band members didn't like the fact that Hubby and i were being so cozy, except the Director who seemed thrilled about it. And i found it a very nice weird disturbing dream.
Oh well.
Meh... I crave for pancakes, banana split and whipped cream, and hot fudge spread all over Brett!

Have you tried Coke zero ?I'm curious to know who else shares my insatiable thirst for Coke Zero... I've been drinking Diet Coke since I was small, and I can barely live without it! I used to make myself wait till evening to drink it but I must admit that i've been breaking my own rules. I get so excited nowadays when there's a sale on Coke Zero. For its zero calories, I'll continue to drink it by the gallon!

Been listening to Rickie Lee Jones a lot. Her lyrics has touched me in ways she'll never know. Even Nina Simone's lyrics hadn't managed to do that to me. And I wonder ponder if i could ever get the chance to see her in concert.

I signed up for PPP because I wanna get that extra money. Making money while blogging is so worth it since I already have a blog anyway. It's really ok if some of my posts may get rejected and the amount of money i get paid may be small.
Oh, btw, PPP stands for PayPerPost for those of you who haven't heard about it. I am still a novice on PPP, having just jumped with other blogger friends less than a month. Well I haven't been paid yet but the thought of getting $ $ $ for posting something on my blog.... hmmm... IT'S GREAT!!! (Jumps around the room)
Hey, other bloggers are making real money doing it so I figured, why shouldn't I? I'm a housewife with all the time in the world! (seriously). It's really easy, writing doesn't take too much of my time (well it depends on how many posts that is and the oppoturnities that are available to me). I'm gonna try to find more time online to check the latest updates. But yeah, whatever it is, I'll take whatever that comes my way! A Full time housewife with no income at all, well except for a small allowance hubby gives me every month. So, can't complain.
And if I can get enough money from blogging…. I’d love to take hubby to Sardinia, Italy, as an Anniversary present! Weeeeeeeee!

Yesterday was Alex's Birthday! I baked him an Easy peasy chocolate cake and a Berry-Misu, and let me tell you... it's really delicioussssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!
Now, I bet everyone thinks they have a good chocolate cake and berry misu recipe, but hey, they're wrong. Mine is the best! I got it off the internet, and I have yet to taste a better one. I don't really brag about my cooking often cause I am a bad cook, haha, so when I do, you should listen.
We had the last best BBQ and weather for this summer and had so much fun with our family and friends.

I've been away too long. So, forgive me. Time really flies when you have plenty of things to occupy yourself with. School is really giving me a headache. German prepositions are really the death of me! How the heck am I gonna sit for the Certificate. I dont know really. .
The trip to England was indeed a very short visit. Too short to take in all the lovely sights and the lovely shopping. Its so fun to shop with British Pounds. I so wanna go back there and stay a bit longer next time.

Anyway, I can't believe what I just read. This German politician is suggesting that a law be created to limit marriage contract to expire after seven years, renewable thereafter if couples are committed. It sounds ridiculous but this politician really means it. You can read about it here. FYI, men will totally love it ok.
Just for the record, I've made slightly about 30 USD so far in less than a month for PPP. . It's not bad actually. Take a look. See, PayPerPost really works!

One thing Hubby insisted when he rented an apartment was it had to have at least a one car garage and that is what he got. The garage is a special place for him. He keeps it neat and orderly. We have his set of winter tyres hanging on the wall. Garage cabinets in the back for storage and a whole lot more. When the garage gets dirty he sweeps it clean. Really clean.

Five workers killed in accident at German construction site-Oct 25, 2007, 18:58 GMT
Grevenbroich, Germany - Five workers plunged more than 100 metres to their deaths on Thursday in an accident at a power plant under construction near the west German town of Grevenbroich, officials said.
Six men were seriously injured when steel girders supporting a giant furnace collapsed, sending the constructing workers crashing to the ground, a spokesman for the emergency services said.
One worker remained unaccounted for by early evening after a mammoth rescue operation involving nearly 300 rescuers assisted by helicopters.
The accident occurred at what is believed to be Europe's biggest construction site, near Dusseldorf in the state of North Rhine- Westphalia.
More than 1,000 people work at the site, covering an area the equivalent of 50 football pitches, where a power plant fuelled by lignite, a type of coal, is being built.
A spokesman for the energy provider RWE, said it was not clear what caused the 100-ton girder construction to collapse.
North-Rhine Westphalia Prime Minister Juergen Ruettgers went to the scene and expressed his condolences to the victims and their families.

I haven't written anything in a while. Anyway, i had a nice day, so i decided to write something.
Well, "rainy season" has started in Germany. I mean, actually all year seems like rainy season to me. In Hannover, it's more like "hmm... it's not raining today, but who knows whats gonna happen by the end of the week." More rain and more rain. Not good at all, especially when water gets inside my shoes on the way to school. Enough about the weather
Look at my beautiful new baby Budgie. His name is Paulchen. I got him at a Bird show in Gehrden and fell in love with him. The little guy really won my heart. Obviously, i've been busy taking care of him and school. Anyway, Paulchen is great. Super cute, very tame, and very intelligent. He's so adorable and now close to 6 weeks old.
My German Certificate exam is next week. Im really nervous about it. So i'll be busy putting in some study time. There won't be many updates. Wish me luck!

I havent written so much cause nothing really happened and I havent done anything so exciting. Anyway, finally my intensive German course is now over! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I am really happy because I don’t have to wake up every morning at 6.30 AM just to catch the train to school, but at the same time, I guess i'm going to be really bored out of my mind for a while.
I havent been able to use nearly as much German as I would like to because I don’t really have any German friends and hubby doesn't talk German to me that much. I know a couple, but thats about it. Life's not easy for me in Germany when it comes to language. I just got to keep on learning more and more everyday. Hopefully that won't be a problem I have to deal with much longer.
Nothing has happened today. Its cloudy, grey and depressing here. Wishing for more sun tomorrow.
