Tonight has to be one of the most depressing nights for the Irish football team. Not only did we come within seconds of loosing to a pretty poor team, (no disrespect to Cyprus), but we also failed to qualify for Euro 2008. Tonight I decided to install enlightenment as my desktop environment on Ubuntu. Why did I choose this over the default desktop environment of GNOME? I saw it earlier and I liked how it looked. My first impressions of it are pretty good. It’s speedy and pretty. Here’s a screenshot of my desktop using enlightenment so you can see what it looks like.
