Housewarming party
2008-09-20 18:30:00
I attended my friends' housewarming party in Newcastle. Sadly I went alone from Sunderland to Newcastle. I didn't have my dinner before that because I worked on Saturday this month, so I was a bit hungry and looking forward to something to eat. ......

Happy and enjoyable day
2008-09-18 14:38:00
Today is a happy day. My tutor has started to teach me a lot of pharmacy stuffs that I’ve doubt my ability to remember them all. Normally, I didn’t talk nor had any conversation with anyone in the pharmacy, of course from time to time we did talk a bit but today is lucky, and I didn’t make many mistakes. Even if there were, they were very minor and nothing to worry about. So, I would declare today as commencement of my pre-registration training year. Even my tutor bothered to ask me wheth......

My 'agriculture trip'
2008-09-13 13:34:00
My ‘agriculture study’ at Tuscany and Siena was organized by the BN Backbenchers Club Florence Plus Hostel to enable my family and myself to learn more about the ‘culture’ in Italy. Unfortunately, we use bus instead of helicopter or plane to the designated places as we were not funded by the government ‘tax’ monies. We paid the tour all by ourselves without using the government money and it didn’t cost much aswell, only €25 per person. Actually we planned to go to more pla......

What have I learned?
2008-09-12 17:04:00
What have I learned during my one month pre-registration? Basically, I didn’t learn anything or yet. Everything was due to the busy staffs and in the pharmacy. This Wednesday was my first time to enter into the dispensary area. I thought the computer was easy for me to play with. Unfortunately, it’s not. The system is called LINKED system, and I have no idea what the hell it is. Despite my talent in computer, still, I have problem dealing with the system. Throughout the dispensing p......

My first Europe trip, Brussels
2008-09-08 14:58:00
Because I was a bit bored and lonely at the moment, I took my time looking back the old pictures that I stored in my laptop. And I came across the Brussels’ trip pictures which I went during the last Christmas holiday with MJ, June Lim and her young brother. Before you read further, I would like to remark that the pictures were not in sequence as it happened long time ago, almost a year. So, I can’t really remember much detail about the trip. Anyway, because the trip was during Chri......

Why in rush?
2008-09-08 06:09:00
PETALING JAYA: Fifty members of the Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club (BBC) will leave for Taiwan on an eight-day study trip starting Monday. Some 50 MPs out of a total of 78 are expected to take part in the programme, which was organised to explore Taiwan’s agricultural and industrial technology.BBC chairman Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said they decided to go to Taiwan, and not China, as they were short of time.“Initially, we wanted to go to China but as we did not have enough time to proc......

Malaysia’s BN is so unprofessional
2008-09-07 14:59:00
In order to counter attack Anwar’s effort to topple the BN as ruling party in Malaysia which is expected to happen on 16th September, the government has sent BN MP overseas until the day after the poll which will be on 17th September. To be honest, I do think this is a bit unprofessional method or way of dealing with the problem. In general speaking, the BN should think of something more promising and effective. This looks like they are out of idea of how to defend themselves and run awa......

What is it like to be a billionaire?
2008-09-05 16:00:00
What is it like to be a billionaire like Bruce Wayne from Batman series? One, you date with movie stars and drives sport car. Two, you buy something that is not for sale. Three, you have the authorities over anything because you own the place. Four, you don’t have to worry attending an event late as you can use helicopter to drop you off. ......

The new look of Murray Library Lecture Theater
2008-09-05 14:23:00
This is the new look of Murray Library Lecture Theater (MLLT). Not sure what is the round thing below the chairs. Maybe it sucks in the air in case you fart during the lecture. A new cash machine is added inside the library, just outside the lecture theater. ......

The Great Malaysia
2008-09-03 13:32:00
Before Malaysia was born, there was a Malaya land. We know that Tunku Abdul Rahman came to Borneo, and only then Malaysia was born and become multi racial country. This is how Barisan National was born. For a time we lived in harmony, but like all countries, some want to be powerful and rule the whole country, while others wanted to live in just and peace. And so the country becomes corrupted, opposition parties were raised to fight against the corruption and nepotism. This is how pe......

The first day I didn't step out of the house
2008-09-01 14:19:00
Today is the first day I didn’t step out of the house ever since I moved in to the new house. Why is it possible? How? Since I moved in to the new house on 1st August 2008, straight after my return from London, I always went out of the house at least once. This is because I worked from Monday to Friday and on Saturday, I need to go out to do my own stuffs such as banking, post mail, cut my hair, grocery shopping. On every Sunday, I go to church in the morning and then to ASDA. So basicall......

Michelle's Birthday
2008-08-31 08:36:00
Last night we celebrate Michelle’s 22nd birthday at Zizzi Italian restaurant. Her real birthday is on 25th August. Only 7 of us went for the celebration (Dennis, Jasmeen, Nicholas, Michelle, Allan, Siew Ching and I). The food weren’t nice and it was too noisy in the restaurant. After that, we went to the Gate behind the china street to drink wine. I didn’t really want to drink wine this time for certain reason. We came back to Sunderland by taxi early in the morning around 1.45am. ......

A piece of memory
2008-08-27 15:26:00
I think my last few posts were a bit rush. I didn’t really write in depth of what I originally intended to. Anyway, I was in London last weekend till Monday which was public bank holiday. The closing ceremony wasn’t as great as the opening ceremony but it’s good enough to impress the world. Even the locum pharmacist at Greens Pharmacy (where I work) said that London is going to struggle in everything as it’s impossible for them to do as successful as the Beijing Olympic. He is UK cit......

Why so obvious? Dare to fail?
2008-08-24 13:51:00
I only have one question.... WHY SO OBVIOUS ???? Recommended reading: Retardation of a nation The highlighted quote” “It's amazing how the government spends taxpayers' money to achieve their own goals as if it belongs to them entirely. The majority of schools in Malaysia are in serious need of funds and not only those in Permatang Pauh. If every school needs to wait for a by-election before getting due assistance, then this is definitely political blackmail at its worst.” Pe......

Londoning....
2008-08-24 04:20:00
Four Seasons Restaurant Last night, we went to Bayswater in London to have our dinner. The foods were nice and delicious. Not expensive though. The Four Seasons restaurant is famous for its roasted duck where everyone has to wait outside the restaurant for available seats. It’s definitely earns an insane monies in its turnover.Shannie's favorite , Pikachu. Too bad her birthday not near, otherwise would have bought it for her. We planned to buy it but it is a bit expensive. After the dinner, ......

Expressing my thoughts
2008-08-21 13:33:00
Wow…despite getting 2nd place in badminton sport, now Lee Chong Wei has been awarded with the title “Datuk” , rewarded with RM300 000 and RM3 000 pension per month. Now, the questions arise here. Is Lee being manipulated by Barisan National (BN)? I believe many people will say so but I don’t think so. Lee is not a child who is going to be manipulated easily. The problem is whether he wants to be manipulated or not. With the rewards mentioned above, do you think he won’t? There is eve......

Unfortunately, I can't celebrate it as I am here in UK and have to work from 9am to 6pm which is totally ridiculous. Happy Birthday Susie Ting…. And don’t spend too much money….hahaha......

Sunderland Weather
2008-08-19 15:51:00
Sunderland weather forecast by BBC For the past few days in a row, there never been a day without raining. Ever since I started working, it has been raining almost every day. According to the weather forecast, tomorrow is going to be a sunny day. I know most or all of you might disagree with me but I honestly prefer rain. The sound of the raindrops added to my silent environment and loneliness really make me more awake. If it is sunny day, I feel melted, lazy and worst, I will lose my conce......

Lee Chong Wei
2008-08-17 15:34:00
Lee Chong Wei I know I rarely do this. In the final match between Lee Chong Wei against the China's Lin Dan, I truly understand some of us were disappointed by the defeat that drop the hopes of Malaysia to get gold in Olympic 2008. Some of us are angry because the match didn't really meet the expectation and it was a total loss or defeat. However, I share my passion and understanding of the situation and I don't think he deserves to be critisied by the Malaysian. I know many of us did and som......

What is Friday?
2008-08-15 13:47:00
The Me with the dying face What does Friday means to me, or at least to certain group of us? It is not a Good Friday where you celebrate holiday. Indeed, it means you don’t have to work the next and the following days. You don’t have to bother waking up early in the morning and to bully your legs like hell. But this apply to people who are like me, living in loneliness and tiredness where your life is about waking up in the morning just to prepare to go to work till almost evening and th......

Northerners Urged To Move South
2008-08-13 02:06:00
Nothing particular special about this post. Just wanna share it to people I know. Northerners should move to the South East if they want to improve their quality of life because regeneration policies in the North are doomed, a radical report has claimed.Think tank Policy Exchange said a mass internal migration was the only solution to a decade of failed efforts to revive cities such as Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle.Admitting that their findings might be seen as "plain barmy", the report a......

Jimmy's Birthday
2008-08-12 15:23:00
This is not a new event. Instead I should have blog this the day before I started pre-registration training on 4th August. Last two Sunday on 3rd August was Jimmy’s birthday. A part celebration was held at his new house (not my housemate anymore), attended by many friends. BBQ at the back I can’t write much about this event as I was no in the mood to enjoy as I have to work the next day. The life as student has really gone JUST LIKE THAT. I hardly can imagine how 4 years passed so quic......

My old house
2008-08-10 08:15:00
MJ's room, not what it used to be like. Today I went to my old house at 13 Argyle Street to do some cleaning which have been left undone. 4 of us (ME, Jason, Nicholas and PeiWen) showed up to clean the house. Me, being such a crazy blogger, take my time to take some pictures of the house. Anyway, these are some of the photos I took during the cleaning. They are completely different than what they used to be. MJ's bed Joyce's room; obviously it's different. For some reason, I really very v......

Pre- Olympic 2008 Beijing thought
2008-08-07 12:41:00
MTV Tomorrow is a big day for China. The Olympic game 2008 is going to be held in Beijing this time. Despite the natural disaster which had shaken several parts of China due to earthquake and the death of thousands of people, as well as riot by certain race and dissent from certain countries, this so-claimed biggest sports, Olympic 2008 will still be hosted by China and is going to be a really big event throughout the world.Live version Unfortunately, I am unable to watch the opening cerem......

Why I think Anwar's allegation about the sodomy case is faulty?
2008-08-06 16:11:00
Firstly, according to gay, no one will come out to the public and announce he is sodomized by someone else. If he does, he is insane and crazy. Secondly, the person is around 27 years old, and I believe Anwar is far older than he, so who is probably stronger? Thirdly, Anwar is so rich and he is married for many years (I am not sure how long) with his wife, did he suddenly become gay? OMG, normal people can become gay all of sudden, is it? Can't he find more pretty women? You guess it? Fo......

Loneliness.....
2008-08-06 14:41:00
The Greggs shop inside the Gateway, Sunderland Uni Crazy me; went all the way down from Greens pharmacy to Gateway, Sunderland University during my lunch break at 12pm. Unusually, I didn’t make an attempt to have my lunch break at the Greggs (is this how it’s spelled) inside the Gateway. The reason I went all the trouble to get there is because I don’t really want to spend money at the nearby restaurant or fast-food. It’s indeed there is a Gregg shop just opposite to the pharmacy I am......

2008-08-04 13:36:00
Bunny Hill PCT First day working as pharmacy pre-registration trainee, huh? I know the first impression is vital but guess what happen. OK, I went to Bunny Hill PCT and I found it is truly fascinating, with its own canteen, computer room, fitness room, library and etc. But unfortunately, I won’t be working here anymore. WHY? Hamleys Shop
2008-08-01 18:01:00
The next day we went to Hamleys shop which is famous for its toys. Hey, I know I am too big for this but at least spend a little time to recall back my past. When I was small, I love to play with toys but unfortunately I was from poor family, so I didn’t manage to get my hands on them. But this doesn’t mean I am buying them now. Here you can find a lot of toys, from soft toys to various types. And of course this includes the famous LEGO. I planned to buy one for my nephew but I couldn......

ZSL London Zoo
2008-08-01 05:13:00
On 29th July, MJ and I spent the whole afternoon at the London Zoo, ZSL (Zoological Society of London). Admission fee is £17 per person. There are a lot of animals you can see here but if you’re prefer to see wild animals, you should go to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo where you can find elephants, bears, rhinos, crocodile, sea lions and etc. Unfortunately, we didn’t know about that and went to ZSL London Zoo. Anyway, I will show some of the great photos we took from the visit.Funny gorilla The beard......

Abdullah's wife?
2008-07-27 05:04:00
Prime Minister’s wife? I thought she was dead 2 or 3 years ago. Did the prime minister, Abdullah married again? If I am not mistaken, I believe he mentioned before after the death of his late wife that he was going to concentrate on governing the country. I see, he married again 2 years later after the death of his late wife. No wonder he feels so sleepy during all the meetings and conferences. As a man, I truly understand this. Sorry pal, we can’t blame him for being sleeping all the time.......
