2007-06-22 19:06:00
Subconsciousness keeps a warehouse of things already done. Why it does this no one knows. Perhaps this will explain why a thing suddenly appears as if from nothing completely in place with everything necessary to sustain its existence all around it. It reminds me of a quick pick system that is used in modern warehouses where the ticket comes in and a package is all ready to go within moments because it is sitting in a bin al ready to go. The only thing left to do is to put a label on this package and send it off immediately. The same kind of dynamic is at work during all communications between conscious and subconscious mind. Training to think in the subconscious is the subtlest force that we will ever encounter. Below the level of thought where we may readily access information is ...

2007-06-12 21:55:00
Time once again moves concurrent with my thinking and expression. Suddenly an opening appears and the Parsha returns. I love the adventure of it all like climbing mountains within to reach these soaring heights where thoughts create grand vistas of unification. Once there my thoughts like waterfalls flow freely. The insights contained within this Parsha are a synthesis of so many rivers of confluence. Indeed they match up perfectly with the currents within and without. I am struck by the similarities between Hashem and the DNA structures that make up our bodies in the proteins of life. There the latticework of connection resembles so much the YHVH that surrounds us out of which all life issues from. I digress perhaps another topic one day. Enj...

What happens is this. A point is reached along the momentum of thought where the strongest thoughts begin to take charge in a new way; a way that is both productive and proactive. These thoughts are the result of your efforts to remember your focus and all that this implies. Then it becomes like turning on a switch that is intimately linked with causation producing the instantaneous awareness of unity in mind, body and soul. This focus is attenuated internally or subconsciously so that when it finally reaches the level of your surface awareness the thing is already done. The thought becomes the thing even before the thought has finished announcing itself to this surface awareness. First of all everything happens for a reason that is the major consideration behind all mental alchemy. ...

2007-05-24 19:46:00
It’s always something. You have to start somewhere. Whether you act because of what is outside of you or you respond according to your inner lights you still are coming from somewhere and pushing off of what you are experiencing in order to move forward to where you have envisioned yourself to be. It is as simple as putting one foot in front of the other. I cannot say enough about adequate preparation. A mind fully prepared in terms of what is being thought about in each moment sets the stage for eons of unfoldment. There is a harmony then of relationship that occurs between one thought and another. The same is true between a thought and an experience. Each time I attenuate my inner focus my outer focus becomes similarly imbued. The key element in this and every other area of st...

2007-05-20 17:20:00
There is a method for working within consciousness in order to out picture the results of your heart's desire. All of our efforts for the past untold millenia have been towards finding out this process and then making use of it in our world to benefit our lives and those around us. the method involves a thorough understanding of what is mind, what is thought, what is the subconscious, and what is "I am." Recently this study has taken me through various authors in the New Thought field. For me New Thought is precisely what Modern Kabbalah needs to be about. I am studying this aspect of mind over matter and will let you know in the interim how I am proceeding...

2007-05-03 23:02:00
In order to find out where you are going check in with your thinking. What direction is it that your thoughts are following? Remember that this is a closed system. Everything that you think is reflected back to you especially in terms of the way you are feeling about what you are thinking. There are two kinds of thinking that may take place each representing a way of being. The first kind of thinking is the reaction that you have to events around you including what people are saying and how you are interacting with their thought atmosphere. It is a kind of group thought that is taking place. The energy around you is composed of largely this kind of interaction between thought atmospheres. The second kind of thinking is self-initiating thought. You ch...

Parsha Acharei Kedoshim:We are poised here in the contemplation of holiness the consideration of which presents a challenge to our idea of what is our true vision. If you want to know where it is in mind that you may go searching then this is a question that must be answered as well as a perception that must be entered into in order to be shown the right way of being. You have the choice of seeing clearly through a lens of perfect clarity or you may also choose to view your world through a kaleidoscope of images some true some illusory. In these kaleidoscopes there are mirrors of reflection that deflect the clear light of vision. The mirrors of reflection: Herein you mind bounces around experiences like a ping-pong b...

2007-04-19 21:43:00
I’ve gone beyond the known reaches of the farthest universe in this one. Funny thing is Torah guided my steps there as though I were a small child. A voice resounded in that far off distance saying, “Yes even here I am.” As our sages say it would have been enough if I were born just to listen endlessly to that voice repeating the Kedushah everywhere all at once and within everything. B’H”Parsha Tazria:All of our thoughts, words and actions have meanings and by extension the same goes true for our prayers for what are prayers but our intention to unify with the holiness above in the hopes of seeing that holiness appear in the form of an asked for wish that comes true. The paradigm is always the same. A thought appears and seeks expression first through bonding with other li...

2007-04-13 22:31:00
Parsha SheminiYou must have a direction in mind. For every course there must be a pathway that you may follow based upon where you want to end up. Without this pathway, focus or direction the mind will meander becoming subject to this or that flow depending upon the momentary strength of these currents that move all around us every day. By determining your direction in mind beforehand you are able to skirt these currents and proceed along the way of your intention arriving in time to congratulate yourself on keeping yourself on track throughout the entire journey.Become aware of your background meditations and periodically seek to refresh your mentation actively providing positive emotions to provide a clear passageway for your intentions. Mind looks to e...

2007-04-12 15:47:00
The following is my response to a recent dialogue I took part in called Is God Infinite or not. Here is the thing. G-d is everywhere all at once right?G-d must be inside of me and you at the same time in perfect unity would you agree? We are becoming something more than we were before. Our entire being is expanding and growing in G-d Consciousness. Isaiah 55:8 is a perfect example of this expansion. If we accept that we cannot become like G-d then our experience of separation is complete and the only ones we end up fooling are ourselves. What this verse is pointing to is the experience of separation and yet surrounding this singular sentence are the visions (verses) of what we could become as an Infinite being. Our words would return to us perfectly...

2007-04-06 18:28:00
Bahir 200It is interesting that this final verse of the Bahir concludes with a discussion of the Other as described in the previous commentary. This is of course a study that cannot have any end. Our meditations continue and yet here we find out what is most important of all. Let’s see what develops.Bahir Verse 200. His disciples asked: Tell us how this took place. He replied: The wicked Samael made a bond with all the host on high against his Master. This was because the Blessed Holy One said [regarding man] (Genesis 1:26), "And let him rule over the fish of the sea and the flying things of heaven." [Samael] said, "How can we cause him to sin and be exiled from before God?" He descended with all his host, and sought a suitable companion on earth. He f...

2007-03-30 21:00:00
Bahir Verse 199An esoteric explanation is required here to get us beyond the surface details. Verse 199. The soul of the female comes from the Female, and the soul of the male comes from the Male. This is the reason why the Serpent followed Eve. He said, "Her soul comes from the north, and I will therefore quickly seduce her." And how did he seduce her? He had intercourse with her. Commentary: Think of Creation as being Female or that which takes on the Image of the Male Creator. Drop Male and Female for now and just consider the Creator and Creation. What is this Serpent? It is conditional Time. The original template for Creator and Creation is this.Ex: 1:3 And God said: 'Let ...

2007-03-27 23:05:00
Bahir Verse 198The heart of the matter approached so many times, alluded to in countless Torah verses now becomes clear. The secrets of creation itself are discussed.Bahir verse 198: Why was she called Tamar and not any other name? Because she was female. Can we then say that [it was something special that] she was female? But it is because she included both male and female. For [Tamar means a date palm, and] every date palm includes both male and female. How is this? The frond (Lulav) is male. The fruit is male on the outside and female on the inside. And how? The seed of the date has a split like a woman. Paralleling it is the power of the moon above. The Blessed Holy One created Adam male and female, as it is writ...

2007-03-27 18:39:00
Bahir 197The explanation of origination and flowing of destiny is explained here. Let’s see how.197. Rabbi Amorai sat and expounded: Why was Tamar worthy of being the mother of Peretz and Zerach? It was because her name was Tamar. Tamar was [also] the sister of Amnon. She was therefore made for this. Why were they called Peretz and Zerach? Peretz was named after the moon. The moon breaks out (paratz) at times, and will be built up in the future. Zerach was named after the sun, which always shines (zarach) in the same manner. But Peretz was the first-born. Is then the sun not greater than the moon? This is no difficulty, as it is written (Genesis 38:28), "One put out a hand," [i...

2007-03-20 14:23:00
BAHIR VERSE 196Start in the middle of everything and work your way from the center outwards transforming everything that falls under you perception. It is here that you begin your journey and here that all higher thoughts are entered into. It is here where tasks are mostly in your face that you rise above and set the tone for your future permanent freedom. You make your goals as something that is happening concurrently with the surrounding waves that ebb steadily towards the shore. These are the vibrations of the status quo and you may give yourself permission to rise above these vibrations to roll your own currents towards their own destination shore. 196. Rabbah said: If the righteous wanted, they could create a world. What interferes? Your sins, as ...

Parsha Ki Tisa (Last Weeks Parsha)Behind the veils:First Veil: Contradiction and questionsWe have to take this Parsha in context with everything that has come before and everything that is to come after. Previously when Hashem speaks it is in an active voice as in Moses do this or watch while I do that. Hashem rules unquestionably. Now in this Parsha Moses bargains with Hashem as if Hashem were a relative or someone on the street selling goods. All of a sudden Hashem is asking Moses to “let Me alone that my wrath may wax hot against them.” What is this about? Why would Hashem first have to check with Moses in order to perform any actions whatsoever? This apparent contradiction here shows the distance that Moses has gone away from Hashem. It is only by Moses interpretation of t...

2007-03-01 23:31:00
And so at long last we come to the last section of the Bahir called, ‘Secrets of the Soul.’Bahir 194. Rabbi Rahumai said: This I received [from the tradition]. When Moses wanted to know about the glorious fearsome Name, may it be blessed, he said (Exodus 33:18), "Show me please Your glory." He wanted to know why there are righteous who have good, righteous who have evil, wicked who have good, and wicked who have evil. But they would not tell him. Do you then think that they did not tell him? Can one then imagine that Moses did not know this mystery? But this is what Moses said: "I know the ways of the Powers, but I do not know how Thought spreads through them. I know that Truth is in Thought, but I do not know its parts." He wanted to know, but they would not tell him.Commentary: As w...

2007-03-01 19:08:00
Parsha Tzsaveh תְּצַוֶּהWhat is this lamp which burns brightly and how does it relate to the inner atmosphere of ideation that are represented by the ‘Children of Israel?’ Also what is the oil that must keep this lamp burning in perpetuity? Proverbs Chapter 20: 27 The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the inward parts. 28 Mercy and truth preserve the king; and his throne is upheld by mercy. The only way in which we are able to maintain our connection with Hashem is through our intention to always look for that presence which uplifts us and shows us the way within and without. It is the inner journey that accomplishes every unification without. Our thoughts revolve around the center of our consciousness being borne by Hashem in such a way as to burn brig...

2007-02-23 16:03:00
Parsha Terumah:Terumah in Hebrew, literally, something that is uplifted or elevated (to a higher status). In this case it is an elevated offering. It is from this sense of meaning that we will proceed to investigate, inquire and indeed meditate. Reading this Parsha produces an elevated state of consciousness during which the hidden meanings of Torah are found between the spaces. In order for Moses to be able to carry the tablets back with him he must prepare a suitable place for their keeping both within and without. What is this elevated offering and has does this explain the relationship between Hashem and man? Also how could there be anything, which a man could bring to Hashem that would be in any way acceptable?...

2007-02-15 18:47:00
Endlessly the light reveals itself. The hidden realms no longer lie in shadow.Through Torah the night becomes day as it was meant to be.As Israel opens itself a rainbow appears and once again all is new. Parsha Mishpatim: Let’s put this section into context with the rest of Torah. The revelation has now passed through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and now resides in the children of Israel led by Moses and Aaron. What is this revelation? It is the unity of the presence of Hashem within. This unity applies everywhere and to everyone. Hashem speaks to Moses and to Israel. The problem is that Israel finds it hard to listen with the same degree of clarity as Moses. After Yitro meets with Moses the revelation seems to become even more distant from Israel ...

2007-02-14 15:59:00
This finishes the section on the Sephiroth that we’ve been considering since verse 123.193. And what is the meaning of the verse (Genesis 49:24), "From there is the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel." From "There" is nourished the Rock of Israel. What is the meaning of "from There"? We say that this is the Supernal Righteous One (Tzadik). What is it? It is [the precious stone called] Socheret. And the stone that is below it is called Dar. And what are the rays mentioned in the verse (Habakkuk 3:4), "He has rays from His hand"? These are the five fingers of the right hand. Commentary: We are repeating somewhat of what we’ve learned in the previous verses but this time we are putting them into context with each other. The meanings share each other’s ra...

2007-02-08 16:58:00
Parsha YitroThe curious character of Yitro shows up again in this Parsha. The last time we saw him was when he gave Moses leave to go back to Egypt to rescue Israel. Prior to that Moses has his revelation on Mount Sinai. Now just before Moses is about to go up the mountain again Yitro appears. Yitro is a priest (Kohain) of Midian. This mountain is also sacred to his people. Moses is pleased to see him and it appears even more so than he is to see his wife and two sons. Yitro acknowledges Hashem and builds an altar to Hashem to worship there. Yitro watches Moses judging the people and suggests something that at first seems very sensible but will later prove to keep Israel ultimate...

2007-02-05 23:29:00
The mystery deepens even more here as we get a sense of just who Abraham really was and what his awesome role in the world took on.191. And why did they despise it? Is it not written (Genesis 26:5), "Because Abraham hearkened to My voice, and kept My watch, My commandments, My decrees, and My Torahs." What is the meaning of "My watch"? It refers to what the Attribute of Kindness said: As long as Abraham was in the world, I did not have to do my job. Abraham stood there in my place and "kept my watch." It is my task to bring merit to the world, and even when people are guilty, I bring them merit. I also bring them back, directing their hearts to do the will of their Father in heaven. All this Abraham did, as it is written (Genesis 21:33), "And he planted a...

2007-02-01 23:06:00
Parsha Beshalach:It's breakout time. Understand this. The moment you have the realization that you can indeed be free of negative thoughts or the polarized left column of the Tree of Life, you will immediately be drawn in towards the center where harmony exists in perfection with the reality of your life. Egypt represents the reliance upon the material world for your well-being. It negates the causation behind material wealth and see the ends as a means unto itself. Israel represents the harmonization of thoughts that will occur in any free market system of thinking. This free market system of thinking allows thoughts to grow naturally without the hindrance of overpowering doubt. This isn't to say that resistance isn't necessary to strengthen the flow o...

2007-01-26 18:00:00
Verse 189 And master, you are the one who told us in Rabbi Yochanan's name that there are only two arms of the world." He replied: Yes. But here "rays" allude to the two rays that are below them. And what are they? He said: With the anger of your head. And what is above? He said: The fear of God.Commentary: What we are talking about here is the extension of awareness that takes place in response to one level influencing another level. There is subtle interplay of energies taking place between thoughts and our emotions. When it says the anger of your head we are talking about a projection of thought that starts out below and then ascends naturally by the attraction of what is called the fear of God. The pathways within are described in this manner in order to convey the spatial conflu...

2007-01-23 21:11:00
Parsha Bo:Pharaoh recognizes Hashem repeatedly in this Parsha yet refuses to yield to Moses’ demands. This recognition is of the name that was given to Moses especially due to his level of understanding yet Pharaoh too seems to be familiar with Hashem as he keeps referring repeatedly to Hashem. Yes we know that Hashem hardens Pharaoh's heart in order to make the lessons more dramatic but this doesn't explain Pharaoh's knowledge of Hashem. Also when Moses explains the locusts plague Pharaoh seems to relent and allow them to leave. Ex 10:10 'And he said unto them: 'So be the LORD with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones; see ye that evil is before your face.'Then the next line: Ex: 10:11 'Not so; go now ...

2007-01-17 18:36:00
Parsha Vaera:Kabbalah explains that consciousness is the deciding factor in all of our actions both above and below. The key force that determines the direction of consciousness is contained solely in the recognition that is detailed in this weeks Parsha Vaera. When Hashem speaks to Moshe he tells him that YHVH is the same Elohim as was known by Abraham, Isaac and Jacob called El Shaddai. The subtext is still that this is the same 'I am that I am' that spoke to Moshe when he asked who shall I say has sent me. This is pure being and is the place where consciousness originates from. In essence it is the all pervading essence of G-d contacted through connection and sustained by mitzvoth through the intermediary of Shech...

2007-01-11 23:02:00
Here is this weeks Parsha Shemot. Change the world by changing your mind one universe at a time. Our modern perceptual constructs still cling to the old world divisions of separation thinking that physical reality has to be overcome by physical solutions. It is after all the mind set that must be changed, however this process is elusive. How this may be accomplished relies upon the unitary principle of connection with Hashem. One man making that connection is all that is needed. The true challenge of our times is to open our minds in such a way as to make this possible in the same way on a football field the offensive blockers open up the way for that lone runner to achieve the goal post at the opposite end of the field. I cannot stress enough the limited capacity for change when working s...
