money for searching the internet - mysearchfunds.com
2008-05-13 11:20:41
well i dont normally do posts like this as they can be a bit annoying, but I've read some good things about this site.basically what mysearchfunds.com does is adds their search option (normally on the top right in ie/firefox) to your browser, their search uses ask.com which isnt a particurly bad search engine. Everytime you use it you get paid, you dont get paid much per search but with a few referals searching as well, I've seen some good monthly figures.if you want to read more or sign go here mysearchfunds.com and let me know how you get on. | LuckyOliver closing down |
2008-04-18 13:00:01
Well, luckyoliver wasnt really much of a seller for me but it has just announced its closing down. I believe it was making money as many people got good sales from LO but here is the official reasoning."We spent the last year looking for the funds to grow LuckyOliver because, without the addition of significant capital, the return on investment for LuckyOliver and its contributors would not be satisfactory"A bit of a shame, LO did have potential and many people loved its design.Check out the statement here for more info.......

popular images
2008-03-19 07:33:11
like always I still havent had much chance to upload any new images, or apply to any new stock sites. Here are some of my older photos which are still selling quite well.this is probably my most popular photo of all with 14 downloads on dreamstime alone.I like this image although it hasnt sold once. I must admit i can see why now, especially on a white background.and this one has been selling quite well on a few sites. book photos seem to sell better on fotolia rather than sites like dreamstime.......

november summary
2007-11-30 16:05:31
Still not been adding as many photos as i would like, but considering I havent uploaded many new photos its not been a bad month. Just had my first extended license which added nicely to this months total. With my new camera (nikon d40) and the use of neat image for noise reduction my acceptance rate has gone up and rarely getting rejected now for noise issues.I will hopefully post more this month. So....Novembers profit was $14.28my top earners are still dreamstime, 123rf and fotolia.......

october summary
2007-11-01 05:20:02
Had a busier month than i expected so only had chance to upload one set at the beginning of october, and still waiting on my new camera. But despite that sales have been pretty good and up until this week i was getting atleast a sale per day. At this stage by far my best sites for sales are dreamstime, 123rf and fotolia, with other sites giving pretty much no sales. So octobers profit was $20.85.Novembers target is to get approved on shutterstock and istock and to obviously upload more photos.......

camera upgrade
2007-10-14 08:23:12
So after having relative success with my point-and-shoot camera (canon powershot a540) getting an average of a sale a day, I decided to get myself a DSLR. Although I have taken some great shots with my point-and-shoot there are technical limitations which cannot be overcome. The DSLR i decided on is a Nikon d40, a fairly basic DSLR which can still produce great results from what I've seen. Any advice for a DSLR newbie are welcome!......

two weeks - two sales
2007-10-05 11:57:11
End of the my second week and 173 photos online, although only had two sales in total my acceptance rate is improving. One of the main reasons for that is running noise reduction software before uploading any photos, at the moment I am trying out neat image. Both the photos sold so far where on dreamstime and here they are for anyone interested:you can see the rest of my photos by clicking on the portfolio URLs on the left of this page.......
