It happens often when someone is bilingual or multilingual to mix up languages.It happens to me when I have to speak a lot of languages one after another in a very short period of time.For example, if I speak to someone in English, and someone comes and don't speak English, I have to speak with him in his language, then, someone else comes and I have to speak with him in another language ... in a short period of time, I have spoken three different languages. When I get back to the first person (who speaks English), I got confused ... then, I speak Spanish, French or whatever and I mix up languages. In the US, there is not currently a certification required to be a translator or interpreter.In the US, a translator does not need to be “certified” in order to provide a “certified translation. If you want a certified translation, you can get your statement translated and signed by a translator and see a Notary Public to notarize it. Many translators and interpreters start their business by submitting their resumes and sample of their work to several employment agencies, marketing their business in different ways in order to be known and to build a list of clients.
