YouTube-HTML5-ifier For Google Chrome
2009-12-20 07:51:39
Google Chrome Beta has been out for a few weeks now for Linux, and after a lot of playing around with it, it has soon become my most used browser. Browsing websites such as Youtube and watching videos on there was a bit of a painful, and slow task - Until I came across the Youtube HTML5-ifier....

I have listed what I find the most useful shortcuts below. I have decided to leave out the ones that I think everyone will know - like the Copy & Paste etc. Window Management Some of the below shortcuts may require Compiz to be enabled on your Ubuntu system to work. Switch Workspaces in Ubuntu (win + E) 1. Win +E - Shows all workspaces in a nifty way and lets you switch between workspaces easily. 2. Alt + Ctrl + Left/Right Arrow - Move to Workspace on Left/Right 3. Alt+Ctrl + Shift + Left/Right Arrow - Move current window to another workspace 4. Alt + Shift + Up Arrow - This initiates a cool looking ...

Installing Stellarium
2009-01-31 11:41:42
Stellarium is a cross platform planetarium application which is capable of rendering 3D photo-realistic skies in real time. This means that what you see on your screen will be what you will be able to see with the naked eye, or with a telescope.
