Should we be grateful to Felipe Massa ?
2008-07-15 05:40:06
Hm, so Michael Schumacher decided to retire to save Felipe Massa’s job … I am not sure if this is true or not but that is what is in the news today:
“I stopped because I didn’t want my friend Felipe Massa to be unemployed. I would have had no problem going up against Kimi Raikkonen.”

Santander and Alonso, Santander and Ferrari
2008-07-14 05:38:18
Last week an article appeared on Autosport suggesting that according to high level sources Spanish bank Santander (currently McLaren sponsor) is about to switch to Ferrari from 2010 season. Their motivation for the 2007 link up with McLaren was simple - arrival of Fernando Alonso. He is however no longer there and any suggestion of [...]...

Half season gone - Surprises and disappointments
2008-07-13 07:21:34
With nine races gone it is perhaps good time to look at the surprises and disapointments of the first half of the 2008 Formula 1 season. Here are my picks:
Surprises
Kazuki Nakajima - It is probably fair to say that without Williams’ engine deal with Toyota it would be unlikely for Nakajima to get a race [...]...

Who will not run shark fin engine cover by the end 2008 season ?

It is obvious now that Adrian Newey has started a trend to follow. First it was the Red Bull during the Barcelona test back in February. In April, again in Barcelona, Renault came up with their version of finned engine cover and Toro Rosso introduced the Red Bull clone.
Force India were next to follow. Hoping [...]...

Are McLaren hard done ? Seems to be so, here is another proof
2008-06-24 22:28:33
The events of last weekend in France brought out suggestions someone is out there to get McLaren. So are McLaren hard done [...]...

McLaren Mercedes team are currently at worst the 2nd best team on the grid. The last French GP did nothing to make me feel otherwise. Heikki Kovalainen finished 4th after starting from 10th (following his 5 place grid penalty). Several things happened yesterday that could have changed the podium line up.
