.Brothers & Sisters, So there I was, pouring an $8 pitcher of Yuengling(Thursday's Special) & watching the Heat lose by almost 20 to the Pacers. The last ticks off the clock hadn't even happened & then I heard it. "Well that's it the Heat are toast!" While I don't think the person who said that is nuts, I do think it's a bit premature. Ok, I am going to start off with Michael Floyd. Why I am doing this, is I think he is the best fit for Buffalo at #10. Having watched every game of his career, I think I can provide deeper insight into his ability. I am not a scout, or "draftnik", but I have seen some things I like.Since Floyd got to Notre Dame, he has been a consistent force for Notre Dame. He broke all of Notre Dame's WR records(Catches, Yards & TD's) during his career despite missing 6 games his first two years, put into those games and he crushes the records. And look at some of the WR's to play there, Rocket Ismail, Tim Brown... He caught 100, yes 1-0-0 balls this year despite facing double or triple coverage 90% of the time. That is impressive. Besides the season, this is my favorite time of year. The weather is getting warmer, and the NFL Draft is upon us! Two weeks for today we will know who the Bills think can come in and play! Now, we covered the Tanneyhill situation, which if I am wrong, I will be the first in line to buy a Tanneyhill Jersey and wear it at the Amherst Pizza and Ale House, (Shameless Plug #1).So who will the Bills pick at #10? Good question, unlike last year where you knew it was one of 3 players(Newton, Miller or Dareus), this year offers up a lot of choice. So word came out last week that Ryan Tanneyhill was scheduled to visit the Buffalo Bills this week? Do the Buffalo Bills have serious interest? Or is this typical pre-draft posturing by the team, to create a false impression that they are interested in hopes of someone moving up and trading picks with them. Brothers & Sistas, Before I get going I want to extend one more time our thoughts & prayers to SSG Billy Wilson's family & friends. Billy was not only a customer of the Ale House but a part of the Ale House family! He would stop by & visit every time he had leave. He was one of those people, when he walked in, the staff would smile & be excited to see him. We love you Billy & will always remember you! His friends & family gathered at the Ale House on Friday & we thoroughly enjoyed sharing that time with them. Today the NFL and Nike released the new 2012 uniforms for the league. Nike and New Era have taken over as the new outfitters of the NFL. The new uni's for the Bills although, not radical, do have some subtle changes. The New Buffalo Bills Jerseys will go on pre-sale April 14th, something tells me that Mario Williams will be a top 10 Jersey for the NFL this year!No word or visuals on the white jersey or potential 3rd/alternate jersey. I don't expect anything radically different, except potential on a 3rd, if the Bills decide to have one. Will new Buffalo Bills Jersey's mean more wins? Brothers & Sisters! I'm sorry I've been away, but I'm here to be the "Pizza & Wing Voice of the People". I'm looking forward to bringing you my knowledge & opinion with a sprinkle of fun. So a busy weekend at the Amherst Pizza and Ale House... Where to begin...-We have the NCAA's tournament Friday, Saturday and Sunday as we go from 16 to the Elite 8, to the Final Four Participants. You can catch ALL the game action on our fleet of HDTV's..-This weekend we have back to back Sabres games, as the Sabres take on the Panthers Friday Night, and then the red-hot New Jersey Devils on Saturday. All games will be shown, and as always 1/2 priced medium 1-topping pizzas and 1/2 priced pitchers of Molson during the game... And next week, the Sabres play the Rangers in a HUGE game for 7th place...-On Saturday after the game we will have Joe Mahrone performing live at the Amherst Pizza and Ale House at 10:30 Saturday night.So get a babysitter, get your friends, and make the Amherst Pizza ...
