Well its about time West got his due. Now no idea how much the fine was, but it was announced that he was fined. Keep in mind, this is over his actions from the game the other day, in which he ejected Guillen and Buehrle. If I had to guess, baseball must have figured that West helped to antagonized Guillen, and I'm sure the fact that he was seeking out reporters with the intentions to talk about

| NHL announces next years outdoor games |

In next years Winter Classic it will be Sid the Kid's Penguins taking on the Capitol in Heinz Field, on New Years day. This will Sid's second outdoor game as he played in the first outdoor game back in Buffalo during a snow storm, which was pretty cool might I add.

| Raiders file grievance against Russell |

The saga continues for Russell and the Raiders. To add insult to injury after being released, the Raiders are now seeking to reclaim almost $10million back from Russell. The money they are looking to reclaim are salary advances for the 2010-2012 seasons.
Russell's agent responded earlier to the Raiders grievance:

| Umpires are at it again |

This is getting fricken ridiculous. I as I have said many times, am sick of Umpires screwing over games, and just being horrible, and embarrassing the game. And then having Baseball, always back the umpires and basically telling the players screw you. | Michigan punishes itself for violating NCAA rules |

Just in case people have forgotten, Michigan was being investigated for possibly violating practice time rules, and coaching activities. Many former players had come forward to say that they practiced sometimes twice what the NCAA allows in a day, and Michigan disputed this tooth and nail. Well turns out they now admit they were in violation, and decided to punish themselves.

Why wont this topic just die. I am so sick of the on going saga of Favre and whether or not he will retire, or wont retire. I am just flat out sick of it, and I was getting very excited when he was told he needed surgery to play again.
