I’m talking about Lou’s newest lineup. Theriot leading off! That’s about 650 plate appearances (give or take) for the lineup’s worst hitter. Dusty Baker did this with the Cubs during his 4 years as manager and people criticized him non-stop. I expect the same thing here. Ryan Theriot is a terrible baseball player. He’s the single worst candidate in the Cubs starting lineup to lead off. It’s beyond stupid to consider him for the leadoff spot.
