Iowa’s Department of Public Health is urging patrons of Whitey’s Bar and Billiards to get vaccinated for hepatitis after a food service worker at the billiards establishment was diagnosed with hepatitis A. According to the agency, persons who consumed any drinks containing ice or a lemon slice, those who ate at the salad bar or in restaurant at Whitey’s Bar and Billiards from July 2-13, 2008, may have been exposed to hepatitis. It is urging such persons to receive a hepatitis A vaccine or immune globulin immediately. Symptoms of hepatitis A may include fever, diarrhea, tiredness, loss of appetite, dark urine, and jaundice. Moreover, some who contract hepatitis A can become ill enough to be hospitalized or bedridden! And I kid you not! The AnitoKid says: Go get yourself vaccinated, friends! Prayers for a speedy recovery go out to the food service worke... | | By: The AnitoKid Chronikos | | |

| | | OFW Advisory: New OEC Policy | | 2008-04-01 14:15:00 | | I just want to share this important new rule of Overseas Employment Certificates (OEC) effective since March 24. We don't need to wait for a long que in LAC to validate our OEC. We can now present the OEC directly to airline counters, terminal fee counters and the Bureau of Immigration counters for validation. The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration is dropping the validation of documents of OFWs leaving through its labor assistance counters (LAC) at international airports to further streamline processes in the deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). Starting March 24, 2008, departing OFWs shall present the exit clearance or overseas employment certificate issued by the POEA directly to the airline counters, terminal fee counters, and the Bureau of Immigration counters. The POEA labor assistance counter shall remain open 24/7, but its services shall be limited to assisting OFWs with documentation problems, issuing overseas empl... | | By: OFW LIFE | | |

| | Secret AdSense Online Advisory Council Revealed | | 2007-08-19 19:29:00 | | It seems that AdSense is forming (or has formed) a secret new group made up of some of it’s most successful publishers. An email was sent to an unknown number of publishers in the last 24 hours inviting them to join it with the following email which was forwarded to me by a ProBlogger reader two ProBlogger readers who both wish to remain anonymous. I’m unsure if this group is new or an existing one as it’s not something I’d heard of until today:

| | | Giuliani to Reveal Five-Star Conservative Judicial Advisory Panel? | | 2007-07-16 14:02:00 | | So it seems that Giuliani wants to put on a good impression by announcing a power house Judicial Advisory Panel. I just don't see Conservatives getting behind Giuliani on this move alone, he leans a little more to the right than I think most people would like.Last week, he was smeared by Firefighters for a myriad of thier own reasons. What I find hilarious about all of this is if the issue centered around 9/11 then why are just now hearing about it? Say it with me, election year is coming.I think we can easily conclude that this is certainly another checkmark in the long line of smear campaigns leading up to the primary. The question is how will the general voting populace receive it?Of course, this is all probably unimportant information. The second Fred Thompson or Newt Gingrich announce, we can stick a fork in Rudy as well.... | | By: The Dissident Awakens | | |
