When I sort some things out, I am going to start a new blog on making on internet marketing, search engine optimization, and making money online in general. For those expecting to make a lot of money from Agloco, this might be disappointing news. There were many reports when they launched their service that their business model was flawed. A year down the line, the critics have been proved right.

Their blog is dead, no one uses the Viewbar anymore, and even the security certificate for agloco.com has expired. Many people would call Agloco a scam. Many would probably say "told you so". I'm not so sure about that myself. I think there are two possible versions:1. Agloco was planned as a scam from the beginning. Their goal all this time was to collect private information from the members to sell it later, as well as make as much money as possible from the Viewbar and advertisements.I don't find this very likely, because if they were planning to scam people from the beginning, they could have done a better job of it. Scammers should give the members daily updates, nice promises, answer each and every question, and make sure everyone is using the Viewbar so they can maximize their revenue. I'm saying they did a bad job if it was a scam, since they didn't realize any of potential revenue from the site or blog, and didn't even encourage the members to use the Viewbar enough. I've been scammed enough times to know how it works :-)The only way this could work is if their plan was to sell the details of the members to someone, and they didn't want to bother with any other sources of revenue; everything was just a cover-up. Again, I don't think it's very likely, but it's a possibility.2. Agloco was planned as a real project, but failed due to incompetence of their team and other reasons. If I had to bet, I'd bet on this one. From the start of the program, they showed their inability to keep their own deadlines, the lack of communication between the members, and so on. The so-called "economic network" turned out to be nothing more than a pitiful reincarnation of AllAdvantage. Of course, I'd like to believe that they are busy working on payout system, but that seems less likely with each passing day.The biggest problem is the lack of communication between Agloco management and it's members. | | Agloco - You Should Own The Internet | | 2007-09-28 02:20:00 | | I recently signed up for Agloco, a company that is promising to share it's profit and shares with it's users. It seems like a fairly simple concept, the company sells advertising which it delivers through a downloadable viewbar. As you can see, the viewbar is very unobtrusive. I chose to dock it at the top of my screen, though the default is the bottom. Either way, it takes up very little space and the ad section, which has thus far been only text ads, isn't glaring or distracting at all. Really, it's not that annoying. You can use the viewbar to get credit for up to 5 hours of ad views per month, currently, but that amount is expected to increase once the program really gets rolling. In addition to the 5 hours you can receive credit for monthly, you also receive credit for your referrals and their referrals up to 6 levels deep. Six levels can amount to a massive number of ad hours and in turn means more shares and earnings for you. It seems like a decent premise, and really, 5 hours a month is nothing to invest towards owning shares in a company and collecting earnings on top of that. This time, however, I don't have a screenshot, because I didn't manage to make one before Agloco stats moved to the next month :-) I have calculated my earnings for the month, though - and they are lower than usual. Apparently, I only made 46 new referrals and earned 70 hours from my downline.I see several reasons for this, most obvious one being that I was away for most of July and August, not marketing actively, and updating my sites only occasionally. (A slight offtopic here - it would have helped me a lot if it would be possible to schedule a future post here in Blogger, like Wordpress can do). This does not, however, explain declining hours. Other reasons might be August being a 'slow' month, or some members getting discouraged with Agloco since it's not clear when it will make payouts. Or maybe it's none of these, and happening only to my network?I'm not worried by this, however. I am worried a bit about Agloco being slow to update and improve, but I knew it would be a long-term project when I joined it. (Speaking of updates, don't forget to add your adress in your Agloco profile to get your check, whenever they mail it). During September, I will get back to my usual posting routine, and continue my work with Agloco. I also want to catch up on all link exchange requests. Este mes Agloco se caracterizo por 2 cosas:Transferencia de la Web Oficial de Agloco a nuevos servidores.Firmas con uno de los mayores socios de Agloco la ultima semana de agosto TRANSFERENCIA DE LA WEB OFICIAL DE AGLOCO A NUEVOS SERVIDORES Como todos los mienbros de Agloco sabemos al comienzo de este mes hubo unos problemas a la hora de visualizar las horas acumuladas del ultimo mes de Julio, el problema duro 2 semanas, pero era por el hecho de que Agloco se estaba preparando para migrar a servidores mas potentes, la migracion duro unos dias, incluso un par de dias el sitio Ofial de Agloco se mostraba un mensaje que decia que la web esta momentaneamente fuera de servicio.Una vez hecho el traspaso se normalizo el servicio de la Web oficial de Agloco y las horas semostraban totalmente completas, y ademas, la pagina web de Agloco estaba mucho mas rapida, tanto para ingresar como para poder descargar la viewbar, asi que si aun no te has bajado tu viewbar porque demoraba mucho, ahora si podras descargartelo sin ningun problema desde tu sesion de Agloco. FIRMAS CON UNO DE LOS MAYORES SOCIOS DE AGLOCO LA ULTIMA SEMANA DE AGOSTOAgloco nos dice en su blog que esta muy entusiasmado por haber firmado con uno sus mayoressocios de ingresos en la ultima semana de Agosto. Agloco hara el anuncio formal posteriormente.Agloco nos dice que ellos saben que para muchos de nosotros pareciera que ha pasado mucho tiempo desde el lanzamiento de la viewbar. Pero la Viewbar lleva fuera menos de 90 días. Y ninguna compañía responsable haría tratos serios con AGLOCO hasta que la Viewbar estuviera publicada y estabilizada. | | Continúan los problemas con el conteo de las horas de Agloco. | | 2007-08-13 08:33:05 | | Se suponía que estuviese arreglado para el día 9 de este mes, pero obviamente, no ha sido así.Continúan trabajando y se anuncia que enviarán un e-mail a todos los miembros avisando sobre estos arreglos y algunos cambios generales que le harán al sitio.Por otra parte, y aunque se ha mencionado bastante en este y en muchos otros blogs sobre Agloco, a quienes preguntan que cuándo y cómo pagará agloco, las respuestas son: no se sabe aún. Así de simple.Sólo se nos ha sugerido que invitemos a cuantas personas podamos y hagamos crecer nuestras redes lo más que podamos y se nos ha prometido (una promesa en la cual creo firmemente) que seremos recompensados en el futuro.No se han especificado métodos de pago concretos aunque se han mencionado varios como lo son cheques, Paypal y otras compañías de este tipo, tarjeta de crédito y acciones de la empresa.En cuanto a montos por hora, no se ha dicho nada aún, sin embargo, se ha especulado que una hora podría llegar a valer tanto como unos 10 centavos de dólar (especulaciones y nada más, este valor podría ser menor o mayor, así de sencillo).Hasta la próxima!:)

Agloco tambien esta en negociaciones con una red europea, para mejorar los ingresos allí. Agloco necesita mejorar las redes en China, Brasil, India, Corea y Japón. También necesitaran una red en el Medio Este. Las últimas tres semanas el equipo de soporte técnico de Agloco se ha dedicado a las mejoras en los servidores, esto no iba tal y como el equipo había anticipado con problemas de balanceo de carga en el Proveedor de Servicios de Internet. Esto debería resolverse en un breve espacio de tiempo y así podrán volver a las otras necesidades acuciantes de AGLOCO. Mientras Agloco este migrando sus servidores a servidores mejorados y mas potentes la web de AGLOCO estará caído durante un período de tiempo (la cantidad de tiempo dependerá del lugar del mundo desde el que el Miembro esté intentando conectarse al sitio). La gente verá una página informativa diciendo que Agloco estama haciendo mantenimiento. | | Líderes de Agloco. | | 2007-08-01 14:06:10 | | La mayoría de nosotros conocemos al sitio Agloco Top Gun, en donde cada cierto tiempo (apróximadamente cada 15 días) su autor publica una lista compuesta por nombres, direcciones de sitios web o blogs y cantidades de referidos de las respectivas redes de las personas allí mencionadas.De esta manera nos enterámos de quién ha referido cuántas personas y quién ocupa qué lugar y nos animamos (por lo menos a mi me sucede) a continuar trabajando para seguir consiguiendo referidos.De hecho, actualmente me encuentro ocupando el lugar #40 entre los "Sharp Shooters" (algo así como los "tiradores certeros" o los que tenemos buena puntería, por decirlo de algún modo) con una cantidad de 394 referidos directos, lo que equivale a un aumento de 164 referidos desde la última actualización del blog.Pues bien, en vista de que ya hemos crecido un poco (creo) y no exíste aún un sitio como este en Español......se me ocurre intentar hacer algo similar (soy como los japoneses y trato de copiar todo lo bueno!).Y es que, tal y como el nombre del sitio lo indica, creo que muchos de nosotros somos líderes en esto de Agloco (conozco a unos cuantos fundadores que han desempeñado un papel ejemplar) y, entónces, ¿por qué no darnos a conocer como tales?Seguramente este sitio puede llegar a recibir un número considerable de tráfico y, por consiguiente, muchos recibiríamos visitas a nuestros sitios web o blogs a través de ese tráfico, lo que implicaría más referidos en nuestras cuentas (aunque sea un porcentaje mínimo).Además me parece que sería divertido, ver en NUESTRO IDIOMA, quién es quién y de donde venimos los miembros de Agloco, como van aumentando nuestras diferentes redes, etc.Si crees que esto es algo que pueda interesarte (y pienso que de seguro lo será si piensas en los muchos beneficios a obtener y la poca inversión de tu parte, que enviar un e-mail no es tan dificil tampoco) entónces visita el nuevo blog: AGLOCO LIDERES y empecemos con la aventura.A | | By: Agloco en Español | | |
| | My Agloco statistics for July | | 2007-07-31 18:21:00 | | It's the end of July and time to brag about all new referrals and hours I got this month:There is an increase in referral growth compared to June, although not a big one. That's not surprising, considering I'm on a holiday in London and don't have an internet access, so I don't do much more besides updating my blog occasionaly from internet cafes. I do have some posts written just waiting to be posted, but they will be more like short articles about marketing tools I use (such as forum signatures or traffic exchanges I wrote about before), rather than updates and bits of interesting news from Agloco.I will be returning home to Lithuania at the end of August and returning to my normal posting frequency of at least once a week. Until then, it seems my Agloco network is growing pretty nicely on it's own.
