After his battle with First Hokage, some issues told that he died, but actually Madara just disappear and hide his true identity behind the person with name "Tobi". Tobi joined into Akatsuki as new member after Sasori's death and act like stupid member just for hide his true identity. After Deidara dies during a battle with Sasuke, the only Uchiha to be spared during the massacre, the Tobi personal is temporarily discarded as Madara takes a special interest in Sasuke's development. However, Madara has not completely outlived the use of his guise as he reassumes Tobi's personality on occasion, such as while delaying a group of Konoha ninja.Just like we excepted from Uchiha clan, as brain of Akatsuki, Madara is genius and strong.
