| Antoine Bechamp | | 2008-08-04 02:33:51 | | Bechamp was one of France's most prominent and active researchers and biologists. He taught in universities and medical schools, and published widely on cell biology, disease, botany and related subjects. His would probably be a household name today if it wasn't for the activities of one Louis Pasteur, who history has treated very kindly indeed, considering his fake science, his tendency to steal ideas (mainly from Bechamp), falsify experimental data, and in general make claims which had no basis in fact.I'm not running off at the mouth by saying the above. It's all quite well documented - Bechamp and Pasteur were both members of the French Academy of Sciences, and the papers they submitted, and their correspondance, both to each other and to other people, were all recorded. Even their verbal exchanges survive in the minutes of the meetings. To cut a long story short, and it is a long story, Pasteur basically dug up the germ theory of disease and put his name on it. It wasn't a new idea... | | By: Live Blood Cell Darkfield Analyse Blog | | |
| | dear antoine peters, please marry me | | 2008-07-28 23:28:00 | | FAT PEOPLE ARE HARDER TO KIDNAP.I'm falling in love, oh I am falling in love so fast....Antoine reminds me distinctly of h.Naoto (very popular, visual kei-like japanese brand... very Final Fantasy and awesome..) in the end statements, but some peices remind me of CDG, the bear bag most definitely. I am not lucid enough to describe my love right now but it's justs so clean, easy, drapey... graphic... and the approach to fashion is just so happy, not serious, you know? I adore that. It's not suppoed to be stuffy. I adore me some Jacob's businesss-fashion but I am always and forever a fangirl of unadultered artistic exploration first, business ventures second. Antoine states: "I love to play with extremes and proportions in materials, prints, silhouettes and concept. By mixing or even merging these extremes I try to create something new and fresh. For this collection, it resulted in the ancient question of 'thick versus thin'. My whole presentation pleads for being fat, but with a slightl... | | By: Fashion Pirates | | |

| | Potential Bills: A Case for Antoine Cason | | 2008-04-10 20:48:44 | | Cason is a darkhorse candidate to be Buffalo's top pick. And yes... that is Trent Edwards he's blitzing. I'll admit it. I've been sitting on a secret for a while. I was swayed by popular opinion and media hype, and my firm belief that the Buffalo Bills must take a wide receiver in the first round of this year's NFL Draft (a belief I still believe to be true). It's a secret that directly contradicts said belief, but I don't care - every blogger needs their favorite draft prospect, right? My secret: Arizona CB Antoine Cason is my favorite draft prospect this year. At any position. Period. Cason is starting to get more media hype as we get closer to the draft (and I've been easing y'all into this in the comments section), so now it's time to talk about Cason. As a potential first-round draft choice of the Bills. Yes, I said it - and I'll take it a step further. At pick 11. Here is the official Buffalo Rumblings scouting report on one Antoine Cason: ANTO... | | By: Buffalo Rumblings | | |

| | The Hermitage of San Antoine and Gorges of Galamus | | 2007-05-28 19:29:15 | | When we first bought our place here, one of the things that we immediately recognised was that it was an area that wasn’t terribly well known outside France. Not because there wasn’t loads of stuff to see and things to do here but that it was an area of the south of France that was relatively difficult to get to. When we arrived, Ryanair had only been flying into Perpignan for a few years and the bridge on the A75 at Millau hadn’t been completed so it was more than a day of driving to reach here from Paris.
Anyway, we figured that it would be a good idea to build up a tourist guide to the region and that’s what became Pyrenees Themes which we created over the course of around two years travelling around the region.
Roll forward a bit and ’tis now high time that we started updating it which we’re making a start on by revisiting some old places and adding some new ones plus there’ll eventually be a whole lot more information about the various sit... | | By: Foreign Perspectives | | |
