    Anyone Else See The Resemblance?

We have this little metal-type door stop that I’m not sure when/how we got it. Simon noticed the “family” resemblance so I thought I’d share it with you. We’d also like to thank Chef (and all the doggies that signed the petition thus far) for passing on the info on his blog about China and their [...]

Furniture for the golf lover (or anyone else really)
    2008-02-03 04:01:59
When I am staying with family I often sleep on a sofa bed and I am not a fan of them at all. Once I played a round of golf after sleeping on a particularly bad one and my back seized up terribly after 3 holes! When choosing a sofa make sure you get a really good quality one. It is equally important to have very good kid bedroom furniture as children need very good support for their growing bodies - and if they are going to support Mum and Dad playing on the PGA tour they really need a strong back!Furniture from home have some of the highest quality furniture (including the dreaded sofa beds) I have ever seen. Their website is really well designed and a pleasure to use. Their range is enormous and if you are on the lookout for quality furniture I recommend giving their website a visit!

    Anyone else remember this?
    2007-05-12 17:02:46
Damnation Alley, circa 1977 and replayed endlessly on the telly while I was growing up. “Tanner this is Denton! This whole town is infested with killer cockroaches. I repeat: KILLER COCKROACHES!” I distinctly remember the vehicle used (a customized rv/tank) called the Landmaster.  Also the giant insects and scorpions and the fact that the were trying to reach Albany, because it’s the only place they’d ever gotten a signal from. Apocalyptic nightmare travel had never seemed so fun! Shortly after seeing this about 30 times on one of my local stations I also picked up (courtesy of Cavtroop) two books that have stuck with me. Warday and Emergence.
