| I'm Attending the National Day Rally 2008 | | 2008-08-12 07:21:58 | | After missing last year's National Day Rally, I told myself I couldn't miss the next. And yes, I am excited when I received the invitation card today.I am a huge fan of the National Day Rally. Every year when friends doze off watching our leader speak over the rostrum, I am stuck to the screen. In this year's National Day Rally, I would certainly be looking out for any mention or hint of the future of the political landscape of Singapore. With the ongoing debates on political freedom, and endless lawsuits, it's important to hear what the Prime Minister's stand is. Besides this issue, I would also be interested in how the government is going to handle the ongoing inflation and economics.... | | By: My Encounters, My Life | | |

| | DAP will be attending the swearing-in | | 2008-03-12 22:01:00 | | More on DAP and Perak
cheekydruid
The latest news is that the Perak DAP assemblymen will be attending the swearing-in ceremony in defiance of Lim Kit Siang. While this is more positive, I fear that much of the damage has already been done. It will take quite a bit of work to patch up the holes created in the new coalition.
Some say LKS and DAP were put in an impossible situation. If they had... | | By: No2umnO | | |

| | Attending the 2008 Australian Open | | 2007-11-19 20:54:32 | | My friend Chris joined me for MLS Cup ‘07. | | attending a few parties | | 2007-09-05 21:04:00 | | songs from the interwebThere were a few decadent parties to attend, they all wallowed in leaves and misery and sunshine rain. People wore masks over their faces, they had diamond faces to hide; a mystery fever. I went to the party on “Tell Street”, just above “Keglar's Square”. The party was broken-hearted, crimson and full of orchestral music. I saw a few people that I knew, but otherwise was unacquainted with most of the crowd. The food was prepared by a gourmet and we all drank champagne. About an hour into the party, the host, “Dr. Philip Brownshoe”, held a toast. He toasted to life and many other things which I didn't hear. I didn't hear because I was too busy watching a criminal roam through the crowd, pacing and taking notes. Featured Artists:1. | | Attending Mass.. | | 2004-04-15 22:10:00 | | Matt, Heidi, and me may be filling some of our culture quota tomorrow night at the Eastman Theatre when the Eastman School Symphony Orchestra and Eastman-Rochester Chorus present Beethoven's Missa Solemnis. I haven't been to a classical music concert in a few years, so I'm looking forward to this if we can make it to Rochester from Jamestown in time. I suppose it's fitting that we "attend mass" the day before a microbrew crawl with my dad as part of an early birthday celebration for him.
