It wasn't too long ago that he announced the script was finished on his World War II creation, and now it looks as if the Weinsteins have agreed to co-finance and distribute the film locally. Even better news is that the movie is being fast-tracked in order to be ready for next years Cannes in May.QT has described the movie as being a sort of Spaghetti Western + WWII combo, which sounds nothing short of bad ass.
