| | | Breaking News: Bill Maher Gets Attacked By Crazy 9/11 Truthers on his Show | | 2007-10-20 17:08:10 | | Right Now On Bill Maher, a bunch of 9/11 Truthers raided his show. While I was watching Bill Maher tonight, I was actually quite bored. Not much took place other than Chris Mathews' annoying, "HA." "HA....................HA." If you have ever heard Chris Mathews, you know what I am talking about. Then, all of the sudden, a bunch of crazy 9/11 Truthers started shouting at Bill Maher during his show. This resulted from Bill Maher's attack on 9/11 truthers a few weeks ago. These lunatic liberals are totally insane.Bill actually ran into the audience to start a fight with the hecklers. He even encouraged the security guards to be rough with the people. This was one of the more hilarious "Bill Maher" moments. Here is a link to the videoRelated EditorialsHBO: Real Time with Bill Maher, Review of the New Season’s Fifth EpisodeThe "Goldwater" ConservativeThe Wall Separating Economics and StateMilton Friedman and Why Limited Government Helps the PoorBloomberg: The Biggest Little Man in Big GovernmentHBO: Real Time with Bill Maher, Review of the New Season’s Third EpisodeHBO: Real Time With Bill Maher, Review of the New Season’s First EpisodeNote to Bill Maher: Being The Bachelor and Smoking Marijuana Does Not Make You a LibertarianCelebrity ExpertsDemocrats Cannot Afford For Patraeus To SucceedHillary Clinton: Our Next President of the United StatesIndoctrinate UBill Maher Attacks 9/11 Truthers and Loose Change Lunatics on Real Time on HBO... | | By: Copious Dissent - Your Daily Dose of Liberty | | |

| HBO: Real Time with Bill Maher, Review of the New Season’s Fifth Episode | | 2007-09-22 07:02:35 | | Bill Maher sounded surprisingly kind to the Republican platform today on Real Time. He staunchly supported Israel and said he really did not care about wiretapping. He said he has no expectation of privacy anywhere he goes. He called Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a terrorist, and a sponsor of terror. Then Bill Attacked Sally Fields when she said there would be no wars if mothers ruled the world. But, then again, Bill Maher always seems to seem Right-wing when there are no conservative guests on his show.Tonight, Bill’s panelists included: Janeane Garofalo, Salman Rushdie and Rob Thomas. I am sorry, but if this continues to happen, I may have to stop being an anonymous blogger and school those people in a debate. At least he could have found someone who could make a rational argument.Take Janeane Garofalo for example. The woman clearly is on medication. No sane individual could believe all the things she does, and then think that they are the rational voice of America. Janeane Garofal... | | By: Copious Dissent - Your Daily Dose of Liberty | | |
| | Bill Maher Attacks 9/11 Truthers and Loose Change Lunatics on Real Time on HBO | | 2007-09-15 23:33:42 | | I wasn't able to write a full review tonight of Real Time with Bill Maher as I usually do. Instead I wrote about John Stossel and his Special on American healthcare.Nevertheless, I did catch the last New Rule tonight and it was certainly worth it. Bill Maher amazingly attacked the 9/11 Truthers. He called them "lunatics" and told them to stop telling him to talk about them on his show. The New Rule was as follows:New Rule: Crazy people who still think the government brought down the Twin Towers in a controlled explosion have to stop pretending that I'm the one that's being naïve. How big a lunatic do you have to be to watch two giant airliners packed with jet fuel slam into buildings on live TV igniting a massive inferno that burned for two hours and then think, "Well, if you believe that was the cause?" Stop asking me to raise this ridiculous topic on this show and start asking your doctor if Paxil is right for you.I was almost up on my seat applauding when he said it. Now it will... | | By: Copious Dissent - Your Daily Dose of Liberty | | |
| | HBO: Real Time with Bill Maher, Review of the New Season’s Third Episode | | 2007-09-08 06:33:46 | | Tonight was a typical episode of Real Time with Bill Maher. Bill Maher’s guests were Cornel West and rapper/actor Mos Def. Plus via satellite, socialist Ralph Nader and Colonel Larry Wilkerson. Most episodes of Real Time involve a “debate” between Maher, two Far-Left actors, one inarticulate RINO, and Maher’s heckling socialist audience. This time there wasn’t a single person right-of-center in the room. In fact, Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-IL 5th) was supposed to be added to the list. Talk about a trifecta of liberalism.Colonel Larry Wilkerson, who loves to attack the Republicans, said that he received emails from Iraq that nothing has really changed since the surge other than an increase in security. Well, for the love of god, that is a really big change. I thought we were supposed to bring security so that the Iraqis can control their own Country? While I did not agree with the War in Iraq from the start, to ignore the recent stabilization is a major success compared to t... | | By: Copious Dissent - Your Daily Dose of Liberty | | |

| | Note to Bill Maher: Being The Bachelor and Smoking Marijuana Does Not Make You a Libertarian. | | 2007-06-24 02:47:00 | | I went to see Bill Maher recently perform standup; Maher is funny sometimes, even if I disagree with many of the things he says. I have watched him for years and he is very entertaining. Nevertheless, it is still strange to hear him constantly call himself a libertarian. Every societal problem that Maher satirizes, his solution is always that the Government should solve it. Yet, he still manages to convince himself that he is a libertarian. I assume he believes he is a libertarian because he likes smoking marijuana, and everyday for him is like starring on The Bachelor. I accept the fact that these are common stereotypes of libertarianism, but those qualities are neither sufficient nor required to be a libertarian. Libertarian philosophy can actually be summed up in two words: “limited government.” Whereas Bill Maher may believe that the government oversteps its bounds on social issues, he is perfectly happy with expanding governmental roles in all things economically r... | | By: Copious Dissent - Your Daily Dose of Liberty | | |
| | Bill Maher Hounded by 9/11 Theorists; Ejects Audience Member | | 0000-00-00 00:00:00 | | “In that instance I’m actually defending President Bush…And cows disagree with me.”
Bill Maher offers up one of the most rationale voices on television, calling out those on the far-left and far-right for their obtuse opinions. At the live broadcast of his October 19, 2007 episode of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, Maher helped [...]... | | By: Garling Gauge | | |
