The Baby Boomers are retiring in large numbers over the next ten years and the impact on the economic landscape of America will be dramatic. This article will examine those trends and the likely impact on business valuations over the next several years. From a 40,000 foot view the number of businesses that change hands will mirror the number of baby boomers that are retiring. According to Federal Reserve's Survey of Consumer Finances, in 2001, 50,000 businesses changed hands. That number rose to 350,000 in 2005 and is projected to increase to 750,000 by 2009. The age of the baby boomer is upon us and this feisty group of retirees are more active than any other retired generation. The key to keeping them active and happy is to offer fitness tips that are worth their time and fun to accomplish. Here are the top 6 fitness tips for baby boomers: 1. Listen to your body. As the body ages, it tends to take longer to recover. The key to keeping active well into your aging years is to listen to what your body is telling you. I'll Take Boomer Over Igawa--Haha Maybe

Mark Feinsand/New York Daily News (aka The Daily Roger):David Wells may want to pitch for the Yankees, but at this point, the Bombers don't appear to have much interest in bringing the aging lefthander back to the Bronx.Wells, who turns 45 on May 20, is hoping to pitch a shortened season, and a return to New York would clearly be his first preference. "We'll wait and see what happens over the weekend," Clifton said. "I'm sure the Yankees want to see what they can do in-house first." Steinbrenner didn't return a phone call yesterday, but a source with knowledge of the team's thinking said the Yankees are not interested in signing Wells, who posted a 5.43 ERA pitching for the Dodgers and Padres last season. but could eventually look for outside help if they decide Igawa and/or Darrell Rasner aren't c

David Paterson, who is one of the best politicians to hear interviewed anywhere in the country. I hope you enjoy this segment as much as I did.In addition to his usual wit, Paterson also admits he came clean about his marital affairs because of an over-zealous state police unit which he says he feared would work diligently to get him.
