| I forgot to mention a couple things. Like the flood of our region. And the tornadoes, in which the freaking siren NEVER went off, which isn't good, considering we live in a mobile home. We were all fine with no damage, but, we live uphill, about a mile from the Nishnabotna river. Here's the pictures:http://www.kcsifm.com/photos/tornado.pdfhttp://www.kcsifm.com/photos/flooding%20may%207.pdfhttp://www.kcsifm.com/photos/flood%202.pdfhttp://www.kcsifm.com/photos/aerial.pdfThey closed the highway right down the street, and at one point the river went over. Not much, but more rain won't be a good thing!AND. Get ready for some cursing & yelling. The meth-addicted b**** with kids in the trailer down the road had a cat. I don't let my kids go over there, because the stuff can get in the walls & all, I can only imagine the problems HER kids have. Anyway. She got this cat declawed and I'm assuming neutered. So, during all the rain, we go outside to smoke, and there's this poor kitty running around our porch. Katherine later told me that the cat used to belong to the meth b**** (not quite in those words) and that they decided they didn't like it anymore so they threw it out. Now that's just not right. AT ALL. So, we now have an outside cat named Tiger (I can't have him inside because Buddy just goes nuts when he even sees Tiger and attacks all the other cats). I don't know if it's just that he doesn't know about being outside or if he's messed up due to the meth, but he has no interest in birds or bugs or other outside things. But, we're feeding him, at least until we can find him a decent home, which, in this town, might not ever happen. Sigh.... |
