| Creating a Great Business Card Online | | 2008-01-15 16:20:00 | | Guest Article By Anne Casanova, PsPrint A business card is an integral part of any good marketing plan. For its size and cost, it’s probably the most powerful marketing tool you have. A business card should present a professional image people will remember. After all, despite its small size, your business card can make or break a client’s first impression of your company. In fact, a business card can impact your company’s first impression perhaps as much as your personal appearance. So like your attire, your card style should be appropriate for your business, industry, and personal style. Here are some things to keep in mind when creating your business card. *Styles*Basic cardsA basic card is usually printed in black ink on plain white or cream stock. This is a good style to choose when utility is all you need. It’s a no-nonsense approach that will appeal to clients and prospects looking for “just the facts.”Picture cardsHaving your picture printed on a card helps a contact remember you the next time they see you. Images that represent a product, service, or a benefit your business provides can really help you communicate a complex business proposition or value.Die-cut cardsThese cards stand out by featuring an unusual shape, edges or folds. Die-cut cards are generally more expensive than regular cards because they use nonstandard production processes. But for some businesses, paying extra to really stand out may be well worth the price.*Printing Considerations*Paper weight Don’t skimp when it comes to the quality of your business cards. A good, heavyweight paper stock will feel substantial and pleasing to the touch. A water resistant coating will also prevent having type bleed from contact with drops of water or moisture from a hand. A poor quality card implies a business that will have poor quality products and services.ColorCurrently, two-color cards predominate, but you can really spice up your business card with a splash of color. | Business Card Printing | | 2007-05-25 15:27:50 | |
A good friend of mine just had new business cards printed. He had moved his company address. He went with a sort of traditional printer. This was sort of a sideline for the printer and the cards did not come out until four months after my good friend had moved.
Like a lot of things, the internet has changed ways of doing business. You might not have thought of applying it to your business cards, but it can make a big difference. I want to tell you about a resource that I’ve been a big fan of. What is the resource? It’s overnightprints.com. I’ve used them now for several of my business cards. They’ve done a terrific job. The prices are very reasonable. I can’t recall exactly, but it’s the neighborhood of $50 to $70 delivered for 1,000 cards.
What I really like most is the quality. They have an option for a glossy finish. You can have it on both sides of your cards or just on one side. I have it on both sides, but I might go non-glossy on the back next time, in order | | By: Ask Jon Paul | | |

| Nintendo NES Controller Business Card Holder | | 2007-05-21 14:01:50 | |
If you are a Nintendo fan this business card holder may make a good addition to your desk.
“Here is a business card holder that looks like a Nintendo controller, from the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Stylish and retro art for your desk, not only cool looking but also functional and useful! It will hold plenty of business cards while showcasing your video gaming pride!
This is made out of Perler Beads, fused together, and then glued together with sturdy contact cement. It measures 5″ by 2 1/2″, and measures 1″ across, so it will hold lots of your cards. Also can be useful to hold important information or scraps of paper that you might have lying around.”
