Caffeine are classified as drug, and 90% of Americans, alters brain natural state and it similar to the amphetamines cocaine and if you are really sure, sometime this amphetamines are used as headache medicine capsule. The brain cannot sleep well because the caffeine effects the adrenaline body. So the body remains active and keep alert and person have temporary in 'high' state. The caffeine can be found in tea leaves, coffee beans and cocoa nuts. Caffeine is in white, crystalline powder, bitter and derived from the decaffeinating process off coffee and tea.One of the mechanisms that caffeine addiction, cocaine addiction, and heroin addiction share, is that they block an adenosine's ability to slow the nerve cells' activity in preparation for sleep, and instead increase the speed of their activity and of the neuron firing in the brain. The caffeine causes the blood vessels in the brain to constrict, because it has blocked the adenosine's ability to open them to allow sleep. The ability o...

    Caffeine Raises Miscarriage Risk?
    2008-01-22 14:14:17
I was reading the news today and learned that a recent study by US researchers is providing strong evidence for the hypothesis that caffeine consumption during pregnancy leads to increased risk of miscarrage. My! They said that the study involved 1,063 pregnant women and these pregnant women maintained their caffeine habits throughout their pregnancies. After the study, results revealed that those women who drank more than 200 milligrams of caffeine a day, the equivalent of two cups of coffee or five cups of caffeinated soda, were twice as likely to miscarry as compared to pregnant women who avoided the stimulant compound. They said that the risk of miscarriage was also increased when women consumed caffeine in tea and hot chocolate. To Read more about this news, visit http://www.reuters.com/article/domesticNews/idUSN2034583320080121...

Stimulants are natural and manufactured drugs that speed up the nervous system. They can be swallowed, injected, inhaled, or smoked. These substances are identified by the behavioral stimulation and psychomotor agitation that they induce. They differ widely in their molecular structures and in their mechanisms of action. The most prevalent and widely used stimulants are caffeine and nicotine. Caffeine is readily available as a common ingredient in coffee, tea, colas, and chocolate. Nicotine is a primary substance in tobacco products. These are generally accepted as a part of our culture, are not usually seen in overdose situations, and are included here for information only. Other more potent stimulants (e.g., cocaine, amphetamines, and nonamphetamine stimulants) are regulated by the Controlled Substance Act. They are available for therapeutic purposes by prescription but are also widely available on the illicit drug market. The potential for overdose and even death is high. Inhalant substances such as gasoline, glue, paint/paint thinners, spray paints, cleaning compounds, and correction fluid, to name a few, are not classified as stimulants; however, the intoxicating effects of these products and their therapeutic interventions...
