    Cloudy Day
    2008-08-20 16:35:00
On Monday afternoon, my husband and I wanted to eat out but before I get in the car, I took a picture of the beach, which you can see in the picture that there is nobody even in the beach since it was cloudy and windy on Monday as according to the news the hurricane is coming. Yesterday and today is windy but sunny and I do not know if I am going to swim in the pool, because their might be a lightning. I am scared of thunder and lighting as it reminds me when I was little that I saw lightning burned the coconut tree back in my homeland country Philippines, I should take a picture that time, it would be cool but I do not have a camera (lol).

New Ways to Store Solar Energy for Nighttime and Cloudy Days
    2008-04-15 21:40:37
By MATTHEW L. WALD Solar power, the holy grail of renewable energy, has always faced the problem of how to store the energy captured from the sun’s rays so that demand for electricity can be met at night or whenever the sun is not shining. The difficulty is that electricity is hard to store. Batteries are not [...]

CD Review: Partly Cloudy -Arm Your Weapons EP
    2007-09-22 20:23:00
CD Review:   Artist: Partly CloudyTitle: Arm Your Weapons EPWebsite: http://www.partlycloudyrocks.comMySpace: http://www.myspace.com/partlycloudyrocksStyle: Punk Influenced RockRating: 8.5 out of 10By Senior Writer C.W. Ross   This Lexington, Kentucky based foursome plays a driving rock style of music that's heavily influenced by the band's punk roots.   The band's debut release, State of Mind was released on LIR Records but the band and the label parted ways after some creative differences.   With their new EP the band went back to that DIY spirit having self-funded the entire cost of the EP. The band also has utilized their MySpace site to help their fans get gigs for the band.   The five tracks found on Arm Your Weapons feature driving guitar work that light up the songs like fireworks on a dark night. The drumbeats are rock steady and powerful. The vocals fit the songs well and are filled with bravado.   While the music is more drivi

    From Cloudy to Clear
    2007-09-11 08:09:47
Due to a water shortage at the beginning of summer, we had to keep the same water in our pool from last year. We thought the right mixture of chemicals and chlorine would take care of the situation. But, much to our disappointment, the water never did clear up. It remained cloudy which was frustrating [...]

    Cloudy on the Inside
    2007-08-14 03:05:00
photo by illustriousbeanLately I have been feeling a little bummed out for really no apparent reason at all. I had a rough work day with excruciatingly long meetings and I know that the rest of the work week will require some extensive overtime. So I guess thats a reason. I got home and started cleaning my house but lost interest and energy after a little while. Now I feel really grumpy and can't really explain it.Maybe its the last days of summer flying past me with the heat thats causing me to feel so lazy and sad. Maybe its just a bad rut. But I can't really focus enough to write a really decent post so I just decided to write how I feel.I am starting to not like going to my church for the simple fact that everyone has children except me. So I sit there and all I can think about is how many people have babies and little children and why can't it be so easy for me? It makes me feel defected in a way. But I know I just need to put my trust in God and he will support me in my trials. H

Cloudy Days Ahead for the Sunshine Girl
    2007-08-12 06:34:00
Well, here we go again. Jacqui crumped on us today just before lunch. Another round of CVS (cyclic vomiting syndrome) symptoms. We were trying to think of what could have triggered this episode and Ken asked her if she had eaten anything she shouldn't. "Ummmm... Maybe," She replied."Like what?" Ken asked."Maybe some crackers.""What kind of crackers?""Square ones.""How many?""Maybe a lot."Come to find out, the little stinker snarfed down at least one packet of chocolate graham crackers last weekend when we were visiting grandparents. We were camping out at my parents farm for a star gazing party complete with campfire and s'mores. Apparently, she sneaked out of the tent when everyone was sleeping and helped herself to the leftover graham crackers. I had made gluten free ones for her so she could have s'mores too, but did she get into those? Of course not.So... There goes the last two weeks of August I guess. I so wish she hadn't gotten sick, but I hope she remembers next ti

    Cloudy forecast for global warming
    2007-08-11 23:33:00
"All leading climate models forecast that as the atmosphere warms there should be an increase in high- altitude cirrus clouds, which would amplify any warming caused by manmade greenhouse gases," Spencer says in a press release. "That amplification is a positive feedback. What we found in month-to-month fluctuations of the tropical climate system was a strongly negative feedback. As the tropical atmosphere warms, cirrus clouds decrease. That allows more infrared heat to escape from the atmosphere to outer space."
