    Combine Two Ebay Accounts
    2008-04-24 08:49:11
Ebay lets you have as many accounts as you like, as long as your not breaking any of their rules. They also let you combine 2 or more of those accounts. There could be a few reasons you want to combine your accounts.Do you have an old ebay account that you don't use anymore? If you have an old ebay account, you can merge it with your current ebay account. Maybe you have a buyer and a seller account. You might have started a separate buyer account so your seller account is not shown. When you combine your ebay accounts, all your feedback rating goes with it. So you can actually double your feedback rating on ebay. Combine multiple video and audio files into Single file
    2008-04-19 11:32:00
There are tricks to combine your video and audio files into a single file without using any additional softwares. These tricks are pretty simple to implement and work fine with many formats.Trick 1:This one is based on something we do almost everyday, but may never have realized it's full potential.1.Download and install Winrar or Winzip(most of you would already have it !!!).2.Suppose you have 3 videos in .mpg format that you want to combine. You have to add them into a zip or rar file.Note:An important thing to note here is that the files must be added without any compression. For example, in Winrar, select and right click on the files you want to join, click on "Add to archive ",then in the compression method select "Store".This way the files will not be compressed and the total file size will be the sum of individual components.3.Now you will get the rar or zip file. Just rename the file as .mpg file(or .mp3 or whatever is the format of your individual files). You will get your combin

Defensive Tackles at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine
    2008-03-10 00:09:12
Image: DT Dre Moore, MarylandI will be the first to tell you that the 40 time isn’t that important for a 300 pound defensive lineman, how often do they actually run 40 yards? Not often, but they do often run 10 and 20 yards and most of the players that have good 40 times also have very good 10 and 20 yard splits. If you also look at the positional drills, height, weight, vertical jump, long jump and bench press, you can get an idea of how strong and explosive these prospects are.Unfortunately the big dog Glenn Dorsey didn’t work out, still (supposedly) suffering from a hairline fracture of the tibia that he initialy injured in the summer of 2006. Don’t look for this to lower his draft status much; he still played in every game for LSU in 2007. Dorsey weighed in at a smallish 6’ 1” 297 pounds, I don’t think the Dolphins will draft him #1 over all, he just doesn’t have the size to play nose tackle in a 34 defense and you can bet Bill Parcells will convert the Dolphins to t

Defensive Ends at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine
    2008-02-28 10:41:47
Pass rushers are always in high demand at the NFL Draft evidenced by the fact that 25 were selected in the 2007 NFL Draft with five being selected in the first round. This year should be no different and the top defensive ends were recently on display at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine. Here are some of my observations.Vernon Gholston from Ohio State was a man among boys. Not only did he look the part weighing in at 6’ 3” 266 pounds, but he was solid muscle. Gholston is as strong as an ox lifting 225 pounds 37 times, which was the best performance at the combine, actually tying 313 pound offensive tackle Jake Long for first place. Gholston also displayed excellent speed, quickness and leaping ability. He ran his forty at 4.67 with a 35.5” vertical jump and a 10.05 broad jump.Chris Long from Virginia also put on quite a show. Almost as muscle bound as Gholston, Long weighed in at 6’ 3” 272 pounds and ran a 4.75 forty. Long was very strong with 34 reps on the bench press, he als

Wide Receivers at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine
    2008-02-27 12:32:19
Image: Andre CaldwellThis is an interesting year for wideouts with no clear cut first round stars. Last year all the buzz was about Calvin Johnson, who tore it up at the combine and was drafted 2nd overall by the Detroit Lions. Some would argue that by the time the Super Bowl rolled around that New York Giant’s Steve Smith was the best rookie receiver, if you evaluated his playoff and Super Bowl performance it would be hard to argue against that opinion. Smith wasn’t drafted until the second round (51st overall). Well there isn’t a Calvin Johnson in this draft, but there might be plenty of Steve Smith’s. What I mean is that the first round talent is not impressive, but the players that get drafted in the 2nd and 3rd round might end up as the best NFL players, and they certainly hold the best value in this 2008 NFL Draft. As the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine results come rolling in, one thing is clear, there were some blazing fast receivers running at Indianapolis. Seven receivers r

    Cornerbacks Shine in Combine Finale

McKelvin, others cement first-round status (AP Photo) The NFL Scouting Combine closed up shop yesterday, and for the final time ever at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, potential NFL defensive backs ran drills and sprints on its turf. For reports on the previous three days of the 2008 Combine, click through to the following links: TE/OL :: WR/QB/RB :: DL/LB Many argue that the Buffalo Bills are in need of a cornerback in this year's draft, while others maintain that a veteran addition will bolster the team's depth, while still others believe that with the emergence of Jabari Greer, the position has settled itself. What is clear is that if the Bills decide that a cornerback might be a first-round target, there are four prospects who are proving their first-round worth. Cornerbacks It was a great day for arguably the top two corners on the board, Leodis McKelvin and Mike Jenkins. The Troy alum (McKelvin) ran a 4.38 40, and that time was matched by South Florida'

Running Backs at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine
    2008-02-26 17:48:12
The 2008 NFL Scouting Combine is in full swing and up until today there weren't a lot of fireworks to report. A little disclaimer here, all 40 times are courtesy of the NFL Network and are unofficial, I counted maybe 15 people down on the field with stopwatches and another 40 or so in the stands, so you will see a lot of different quoted times come out. The official electronic times will be released next week. The receivers ran this morning and California WR DeSean Jackson measured in at only 5' 9" 167 pounds, but he ran a 4.31 forty yard dash. One of my sleepers prospects from Appalachian State, WR Dexter Jackson was actually the fastest receiver running a 4.27 forty. The other prospect that I have to mention without delay is small school quarterback Josh Johnson from San Diego, during the passing drills today I thought his arm was as good as anybody's, I like his quick release and his balls get on the receiver very fast, but what really got my attention was his speed, he ran a 4.40

Kenny and Calais at the Combine
    2008-02-26 15:55:00
Campbell worked out yesterday, and had what I felt was a slightly disappointing outing. I know he's huge and all, but I was under the impression he was a little faster than that 5.0 40. Although the 40 is pretty useless for DL, he didn't stand out in any of his other workouts as well. That being said, his frame is enough to land him a spot in the late first round.Kenny was the recipient of the greatest evaluation I've ever seen on NFL Network. His positives were standard "speed" "toughness" and whatnot, but his negative was "Not Ed Reed". I don't know what else to say except that it's hilarious that his most prominent negative is that he isn't someone else. His workouts were pretty good, having finished as a top performer in the bench press and running a solid 4.55 40 (with a pretty weird running technique, so he might be faster). I'm pretty sure he will be picked in the 1st round as well. It's unlikely he'd slip past the Dolphins at #32.Also, a note on Tavares Gooden. He has been doin

Combine Thoughts: DT, LB, a dash of DE
    2008-02-26 07:28:23
Laws moving quickly up draft boards (Photo Credit) With the Denver Broncos the lead pursuant of DT Shaun Rogers via the trade route, the Buffalo Bills - who are rumored to be interested in the veteran - may need to begin developing a Plan B option at the defensive tackle position. With very little available via free agency, if the Bills are going to address the position, it will very likely be through the draft. Luckily, we got to see defensive tackles (and ends, and linebackers) work out at the Combine yesterday; here's how they fared. (Note: keep your fingers crossed for a Rogers trade.) Defensive Tackles No one was more impressive, to your humble narrator at least, than Notre Dame's Trevor Laws. Weighing in at 304 pounds, Laws was still able to run a 5.08 40, with unofficial times as low as 4.97. He also threw up 35 reps of 225 pounds and vertically jumped 30.5 inches. Couple his impressive workout with his unbelievable college production, and Laws is

    Chris Long impresses at Combine
    2008-02-25 14:55:39
The more of of Chris Long, the more I seem to come away impressed by him.   First of all, you need to consider his impressive interview with the media, which can be viewed here.  Below are some highlights from the Q & A session: Q: Has Al Groh told you about Coach Parcells? Would that be an easy transition? A: I've heard a lot about Coach Parcells and Coach Belichick as well. I think Coach Groh is a guy with a tremendous amount of respect for that coaching tree. A lot of his coaching styles and the schemes derive directly from Parcells and that tree. It will be a tough transition whatever I do and wherever I go. I think he does have a lot of similarities. Q: Are you impressed with Tony Sparano and Jeff Ireland? A: I'm impressed with everybody I meet here. This is the NFL. It's certainly a great experience. Everybody I meet is so professional. Obviously that's what they do for a living. They eat, sleep, breath football. Q: How is it practicing against D'Brickashaw Fe

NFL Combine: Defensive Linemen 40 Yard Dash and Bench Press Results
    2008-02-25 13:31:40
We know that the Jaguars are focusing on Defensive End, so today's combine events are of far more importance than the Wide Receivers, Running Backs and Quarterbacks of yesterday. There is one problem with these numbers, it's that I'm trying to focus on defensive ends, but you've got some guys who project as ends, and others as 3-4 outside linebackers.  Quentin Groves is listed on NFL.com as a Lineman, but others are catagorizing him as a linebacker.  My point is that sometimes making sure you get every DE prospect can be a bit of a pain, so I'll have to keep updating this as I accumulate more accurate data. 40 Yard Dash: Defensive Ends Titus Brown        Calais Campbell        5.03 Joe Clermond        5.12 Johnny Dingle        4.92 Marcus Dixon        5.25 Chris Ellis        4.76 Jeremy Ge

    Combine Stuff
    2008-02-24 19:00:00
A few notes from the NFL combine:Darren McFadden ran blistering times of 4.27 and 4.33 in the 40. He is faster than Adrian Peterson. That much we knew. Let's see if he is as coveted as the Oklahoma back come draft time. We sure could use him as bait.Jake Long led all OL with 37 bench press reps as of yesterday.Glenn Dorsey is raising red flags with a broken tibula he suffered back in 2006. Those concerns might lower his stock so that if the Dolphins trade down to 5ish he might still be available. I wouldn't consider his injuries that big a deal if they didn't slow him down in college.A couple of Canes tried out from what I saw. Kyle Wright ran a slow 4.83 when he was advertised at a generous 4.6 coming into UM. Darnell Jenkins had a disappointing workout as well. He'll be drafted sometime in the later rounds I hope.FSU WR DeCody Fagg blows out his knee and will like miss his opportunity at getting drafted this year because of it. Tough luck for the young Nole.Andre Caldwell of the Gato

Combine Thoughts: WR, FB, a dash of QB/RB
    2008-02-24 14:38:40
Sweed impressive in Combine workouts (ViewImages) The Buffalo Bills need a wide receiver. Dozens of NFL-hopeful wideouts worked out this afternoon in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine. Naturally, these eyes were glued to the NFL Network broadcast of the workouts, and naturally, there were several (big) wide receivers who caught my eye. One other position the Bills may address in the draft is fullback, and there were a couple of nice performances there as well. Quarterbacks and running backs worked out as well; the Bills are pretty well set at those positions, clearly, but there was some movement at those positions as well. Wide Receivers I was impressed with the work of Texas wideout Limas Sweed, who despite still recovering from a serious wrist injury did the vast majority of receiver workouts. At nearly 6'4", Sweed ran a 4.46-second 40-yard dash and looked like a smooth, explosive athlete. Coupled with the fact that Malcolm Kelly (Oklahoma) did not work o

Keller steals the show in TE workouts (Ben Drinkut, Purdue Exponent) Why do I love college? Well, the education is nice, and the lifestyle is nicer, but I love college because I get the NFL Network here. I've tuned in to the draft prospect workouts all morning - keeping an eye on players that y'all mention frequently as potential fits for our Buffalo Bills - and for the most part, I haven't been disappointed. Today, O-Linemen and Tight Ends were working out, while defensive linemen and linebackers were weighing in. The quick overview: I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the linemen because, well, the Bills are pretty much set up front. You're going to hear a lot about the tremendous athleticism of this group of tight ends; these guys are flat-out freaks of nature. Finally, there are a couple of interesting tidbits from D-Line weigh-ins that you won't want to miss... O-Line This, folks, was the Jake Long show. The Michigan tackle (who lifted well yes

    2008 NFL Combine: Quick Thoughts
    2008-02-23 13:24:07
Raiders Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan and I. HeÂ’s the one with the ringÂ… Good News and Bad News. The Good News is that the combine is a pretty good place to meet NFL folks. The bad news is that everything is really, really bizarre  While I am no Michael David Smith, I can confirm that I had a very similar conversation with a scout from the Denver Broncos. Rapid Fire Thoughts: The Scouts from the Denver Broncos, despite said conversation about Maurice Jones-Drew's ample rear end, were far more interested in talking politics than football.  Although I would have liked more insight in how they look at running backs, if your whole existence revolves around football, as theirs does, I'd want to talk about something else.  That said, they were exceedingly nice and surprisingly progressive.   Mike Tice is a very big guy.  I realized once I got to Indianapolis that it would be a smart idea to hang out at the hotel bar where

    Kyle Wright at the Combine
    2008-02-23 13:22:00
Much has been said about Wright's failures here in Miami. However, he never quit on this team or himself. He might not have performed up to our standards, but the kid is tough and deserves a chance in the pros. My guess is that his elite physical tools will get him drafted in the 7th round, but his resume doesn't allow for him to have any shot at Day 1.At the combine, Wright is one of the three "throwing QBs" that stay an additional 2 days and are responsible for all the mundane activities that other QBs aren't forced to do. Visit NFL.com and read his combine diaries to get a feel for what Kyle is doing in Indy and how he feels about his chances against the other guys.

NFL Combine: Jack Del Rio Press Conference
    2008-02-22 14:17:16
I'll have to wait till later to get the exact transcript, but here's a quick re-hash of Jack Del Rio's Combine Press Conference! Opening Statement: Coach Del Rio was "Proud but not Satisfied" with his team at the end of the season.  He likes that they developed into a "Smart and Tough" team that had the fewest penalties of his tenure in Jacksonville.  He is proud of the team, but as he said "we want more". He then gave some hints at the future... Coach Del Rio insisted that the team build this off-season with an eye on the future, that the mission is to be a consistant contender for a championship and not put "all the eggs in one basket" for a one time shot at the big prize.   Questions: On what Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams brings to the team's "defensive player type":  No real change in the type of players the team looks for.  The focus is on guys that are smart and are "football players", "run and hit" guys. On Dave Campo: Jack has "lots of respect" f

Now, there are lots of places that will be offering Combine reporting, but there are a few good reasons to keep Big Cat Country constantly refreshed over the next few days. What to expect from the coverage: Live Blogs: While I don't expect things to happen rapid fire all weekend long, there will be times that a live blog of player interviews, Q and A periods, etc will be important.  When things get exciting, expect a live blog. Interviews: Basically, I'm going to attempt to t

    2008-02-20 04:41:54
Welcome to the first of a planned extensive line of Resources for the Denver Broncos fan, courtesy of the many minds here at MHR. This initial foray is intended to garner some feedback from the MHR community, and to kick start the finetuning process so that the greatest Draft Resource for Broncos fans on the web will be as good as we can make it! I would like to start with the Combine, which is right around the corner, starting February 20th and continuing until the 26th. We have many new fans who frequent this site, and not all of them may understand just what the Combine is, or where it fits in the grand scheme of the NFL universe. Fear not! Mile High Report is here for you! National Invitational Camp The National Invitational Camp, commonly called 'the Combine' is a giant 6 day, trackmeet-like event, held every year in the hospitable confines of the RCA dome in Indianapolis. 32 NFL teams send upwards of 40 individuals each, all involved in different capacities with

Big Cat Country: Live NFL Combine Coverage!
    2008-02-19 16:14:54
Big Cat Country::Live from the 2008 NFL Combine! On Thursday we'll start to get a little bit closer to knowing who the Jaguars will be looking at in the NFL Draft. Yup, it's time for the NFL COMBINE!  The most exciting time in Draft Season where players burn up draft boards or plummet to the 7th round based on things that have very little to do with actually playing football! Now, the really exciting part is that Big Cat Country will be AT the Combine, covering every angle.  What team is spending lots of time with which player, who's "draft stock" is rising, and hopefully a few prospect interviews and some other surprises.  The NFL is so kind as to provide wireless internet, so I'll be blogging the whole adventure!  As far as I know there won't be many "blogger" type there, so it'll be interesting rubbing elbows with all those NFL types and Media folks. What I'm going to do is offer a perspective on the combine that's bigger than jus

Excited about the Combine? I'm not
    2008-02-19 05:13:22
The NFL Scouting Combine will be held in a few days, and that means the frenzy of anticipation and speculation leading to this April's NFL Draft will be kicking into high gear. I hate all the craziness that surrounds the Combine, with players moving up and down 'draft boards' based on how high they jump, how much they lift, how fast they run and how well they perform on a batttery of psychological tests. I think it's over-hyped, over-analyzed and over-utilized as a tool to determine which players to draft. Don't get me wrong. The importance of getting the draft right can't be overstated when it comes to the future success of a franchise. Look no further than your 2007 Super Bowl champion New York Giants (that still sounds incredible, doesn't it?) for an example. All eight of last year's Giants' draft picks made the team, and many played significant roles. A miss on two or three of those players and the Giants might not be champions today. So, it's not that I don't under

Small School NFL Scouting Combine Invitees
    2008-02-13 14:58:18
Image: WR Pierre Garcon, Mount UnionEvery year around this time of year thousands of college football players from around the country are waiting anxiously for the NFL Scouting Combine list to be published. For most of the top division 1 players, the list is uneventful, already assured of selection in the early rounds, some won’t even bother to attend the NFL Scouting Combine. The elite players are worried that an mediocre performance might hurt their already lofty draft status and maybe they are worried about an injury. But for the lesser known prospects and especially the small school prospects (non division 1), the Combine is a huge deal that might make or break their chance of being drafted. The NFL Draft Scouting Combine is scheduled for February 20-26 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The players are selected by a committee made up of directors of both the National and BLESTO scouting services, along with members of various NFL Scouting departments. There were approximately 333 college

Morelli invited to NFL Scouting Combine
    2008-02-11 12:25:47
Apparently Morelli, the Record-setting Quarterback has been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. This is somewhat surprising to me as I always felt that he was just mediocre as a player. I will honestly be shocked if he's actually drafted, although I expect Connor to draft well.

Defensive Linemen at the 2007 NFL Combine
    2007-02-27 12:51:00
The Defensive linemen and Ends finished their workouts on Monday at the 2007 NFL Combine and the results are just now coming in. Here is an early look at which players hepled or hurt their draft stock.Helped:Talk about a workout warrior, Brian Robinson from Texas came to the combine in great shape. Only 6' 3" 259 pounds, but he has huge thighs and is very explosive. He will probably be converted to outside linebacker in the NFL, but he put up some great numbers at the 2007 NFL Scouting Combine. He ran a 4.67 forty yard dash, 6.89 second 3-cone drill, 4.26 second 20 yard shuttle time and an amazing 40.50 inch vertical jump.Adam Carriker from Nebraska also put on quite a show, at 6' 6" 296 pounds, he had an excellent 4.87 second 40 yard dash, 7.06 second 3-cone drill, 33.5 vertical jump, but what was really amazing was his 4.18 second 20 yard shuttle run time. 300 pounders just don't move that fast.Gaines Adams from Clemson was the other top star, he blazed a 4.69 second 40 yard dash

3-Cone Champions at the 2007 NFL Combine
    2007-02-26 14:14:00
WR Anthony Gonzalez2007-nfl-draftI try to take in the total player concept, on the field performance (production), level of competition, speed, size, quickness, toughness, smarts and athletic ability, but one measurable that I look closely at every year at the NFL Combine is the 3-cone drill. The 3-cone drill measuers an athletes quickness and change of direction better than the 40 yard dash in my opinion, and over the years the college prospects that had the top 3-cone times tend to be better NFL players. Here is a brief look at some of the top performances in the 3-cone drill at the 2007 NFL Combine.1. WR Anthony Gonzalez, Ohio State, 6' 0" 193 lbs: 6.54 seconds in the 3-cone.2. WR Steve Smith, USC, 5' 11" 197 lbs: 6.68 seconds in the 3-cone.3. RB Garrett Wolfe, Northern Illinois, 5' 7" 175 lbs: 6.69 seconds in the 3-cone.4. TE Kevin Boss, Western Oregon, 6' 6" 260 lbs: 6.96 seconds in the 3-cone.5. OT Adam Koets, Oregon State, 6' 6" 294 lbs: 7.44 seconds in the 3-cone.

I hope you have the NFL Network, because if you do you will be able to watch the action for five consecutive nights, from February 22nd until February 26th, starting at at 7 p.m. ET. Here at the NFL Draft Site, I plan on featuring extensive coverage and analysis of the entire NFL Combine process, so check back often for the "insider perspective".The NFL Scouting Combine is the premier event leading up to April's 28th through 29th 2007 NFL Draft. The 327 draft-eligible NFL prospects convening at the RCA Dome will be poked, prodded, stretched, measured, timed, tested, interviewed and quizzed by NFL scouts, and put on display for every team in the league. At the combine, many questions will be answered, but even more will be raised, depending on which NFL Prospects choose to do a workout. Many of the top stars, especially those already assured of a high draft pick and those recovering from injuries, will instead choose to wor
