In short, this defense was an embarrassment to the organization and its fans. I want to believe that our veterans have a quiet determination and swagger this offseason that they didn’t display at the beginning of last season. Okay, so the veterans are saying all the right things again this year. What does that mean? Nothing actually. They are professionals and any company/organization wishes to portray a united front to the public. What we need to do is to compare this year’s projected starters with last years dismal group. And as a group, 2007 was quite dismal.

Now consider this: He did it with an untreated illness (losing weight the entire time), he did it with two OL on injured reserve, he did it missing his number one WR, he did it missing his top three RBs for most of the season. Now his diabetes is under treatment and control, he has another year of experience, and the team starts healthy. This should be a spectacular year for Jay.

Seems the stock rose in anticipation of a new release. It remained steady throughout the Leopard presentation, but as soon as Safari was announced for Windows, it began to take a turn for the worse. The iPhone didn’t help much either. Overall it closed over 4 points lower than when the day started. I can only speculate, but my guess is that the stock dropped because there was no major announcement.
Does Apple rely too much on anticipation, guessing, secrecy, and word of mouth?
