There can be that question what to do with the old computers or the old printers. There are nonprofit associations that have needs. You benefit by getting them off your hands and clearing up space, plus you know you’re helping out a worthy cause, such as schools or other charities.
For example, if you’re in the Chicagoland area, one that I’ve used on several occasions to donate too is called technology for humanity, which is run by Andy Vass out of Northbrook, Illinois. You can find out more information about it at www.technologyforhumanity.org .
Conversely, if you’re on the board of a school or a charity and you’re looking for some computers, you could also put in the request on the website for the computers or the printers.
