| Review: L'Oreal Vive Pro Nutri Gloss Shampoo, Conditioner, & Conditioning Treatment | | 2008-08-25 13:09:23 | |
If you have been reading my blog you know I like to use more natural products on my hair. Sometimes when asked to try a product a reviewer might have to put aside their own personal feelings. I'll be honest and let you all know I am not a big L'Oreal fan so I will often be very harsh when reviewing their products. They only make one product that I have ever really liked and that is their Colour Juice Gloss.
As for the products I'll admit they did add shine to my hair but after a week I felt a | | By: Pampered & Primped Up

| There's 'No One' At The Center Of Conditioning. | | 2007-09-20 18:30:00 | | Today, it seems as if there is no one left to communicate with. Everything has revealed itself to be images conditioning other images in order to rationally resemble the way I think reality is to look. Has reality been reduced to a battle to condition the mind? And how would that work, billions of different perspectives attempting to condition one, shared mind to behave according to their own,

| Conditioning The Animal To Go Beyond Itself. | | 2007-09-14 17:28:00 | | Let's talk about conditioning today, shall we? Conditioning is such an interesting subject of inquiry, partly because it is irrefutable but also because so few seem to give it a moments notice. 'You' and 'I' are the products of conditioning. There would be no sense of 'me' nor any sense of 'you' without this continuous process of being conditioned, reactively conditioning, and being

| How To Stay Cool When Your Air Conditioning Isn’t Working. | | 2007-06-01 01:06:50 | | Going into week 2 of no air has my nerves on edge, to say the least. 90+ degree heat, sleeping on a rock hard mattress in the basement and living with one’s mother isn’t my idea of a fun time. I did begin working for the newspaper part-time, so I get out of the house several hours a day. If anyone wants to donate so I can move out of here fast- please do. In the meanwhile, here a list of ways I’m managing to stay cool.
1. Nakedness. This option isn’t used unless I’m home alone, but believe me, no clothing=freedom. Be sure to keep a t-shirt and pair of shorts close in case of an unexpected knock at the door.
2. 4 showers a day. The water bill will be outrageous this month, but hey, nakedness+being wet=cool. Get your minds out of the gutter.
3. Fans. Lots of fans. I have 3 running downstairs alone. So add nakedness+wetness+fans=almost as good as an orgasm.
4. Air-conditioned car. I’ve been driving around just to feel the air. No, I’m not drivin | | By: Ramblings Of An Undisturbed Mind

| SELF DEFENSE CONDITIONING TIP FOR YOUR CHIN
If yo... | | 2007-04-16 19:25:00 | | SELF DEFENSE CONDITIONING TIP FOR YOUR CHINIf you have a weak chin you know how easy it is to get knocked out by a blow. We have seen it countless times with fighters in boxing and mixed martial arts, getting an upper cut to the chin and being knocked straight out. The problem is not actually the chin but with having a weak neck. You see when you are hit on the chin by a blow the head tilts backs cutting blood flow and oxygen to the brain immediiately causing you to get knocked out.So how do you toughen up your chin or most importantly your neck muscles? By performing resistance exercises for your neck an example exercise would be to go on your hands and knees, face down on the ground, have a partner place his hands on the back of your head and resist you as you try to bring your head up. Perform 4 sets of 15-20 reps to help build more strength in your neck muscles. This will help prevent your head from being jarred back quickly making it harder for you to get knocked out.P.S. Whenever you take a shower in the morning run just the cold water and stand under it for 1 minute to start out with. Increase the length of time day by day. What you will find is that your nerves will toughen up becoming less sensitive to pain.
