BI Content InfoObjects are initially delivered in the D version. If you use the BI Content InfoObject, it is activated. If you change the activated InfoObject, a new M version is generated. When this M version is activated, it overwrites the previous active version. When you are determining naming conventions for InfoObjects, keep in mind that the length of an InfoObject is restricted to 60 characters.
